Lost in space, so deep
That we can’t breathe
The only life here
Is you and me
Broken down;
Trapped here with you
Cry all you want,
But there is no use
High heels carve
Into the moon’s dust
This is our new life—
Learn to adjust
Torn dress
Worn the perfect way
Heels kick up stardust
Every step she takes
I stare intently
As she cries
Yelling at nothing
But black skies
Earth seems so close
That she can almost taste
The feel of gravity’s
Forceful embrace
She wants to go home
But she isn’t aware
Of the fact that
We’re already there
The beauty of the world
She refuses to process
The eyes of the stars
She’s not impressed with
‘We’re miles from home
And I’ve lost everything’
From her perspective
On Saturn’s thirteenth ring
