Rengoku x Reader (fem!reader)

Rengoku's Family

You were his whole world. Kyojurou had cherished you with all of his heart and wanted nothing but to protect you. Kyojurou was a very gentle man with nothing but good intentions, he thought the same of you when you two met. The way he would describe you would make your heart basically burst from your chest. He would describe you as having gorgeous and long locks, piercing e/c irises, beautiful curves. He would go on for hours in letters describing you and saying how much of you he had missed. You would write back and call him cute nicknames like 'sunshine' which he absolutely adored out of most. The times he would occasionally visit made you absolutely happy, he would stay for a week or less, but at least you got to see him.

"Rengoku-kun" you called out to him. He had asked if you would visit to his residence while he was in town and you complied, you didn't exactly know why because usually he would go to your home. You were making some dinner for his family since it was the least you could do for them inviting you over.

"Yes, y/n-chan?" Rengoku chirped from the other room. He was talking to his brother until you had requested him to join you in the kitchen.

"Could you help me set the table?" You were chopping up some vegetables while cooking some noodles. You knew instantly that he would help you and so he did. He nodded to you and walked over to the other side of the kitchen to grab some bowls and chopsticks.

You gave him a warm smile back as he helped you prepare for dinner. After he had set the bowls down on the table he walked up behind you and gently wrapped his arms around your waist, holding you to his chest while you continued to cook. He then planted a kiss on the side of your neck and breathed softly into it.

You enjoyed the warmth he radiated from his body, especially since he was wearing a Yukata jacket and it was open, leaving his chest open and revealed.

You put your knife down and turned around in his arms to face him. He bent down a little and kissed your lips, you kissed them back and in turn wrapped your arms around his neck.

He kissed you passionately and bit on your lip gently. You kissed him back passionately and ran your hands through his soft long locks of hair.

Your kissing was interrupted when Kyojurou's father entered the room, standing at the doorway. He cleared his throat to state his presence and break the kiss.

Kyojurou immediately broke it, and then let go of you to face his father "yes?" He looked down into his hand to see a bottle of alcohol, although Shinjuro didn't seem to be drunk, just tipsy.

"When's the food ready?" He said in a gruff and scratchy voice. You had always known him to be an impolite and crude man, but he was your boyfriend's father so you had to accept it.

You moved out from behind Kyojurou and had a pot with food in it "I just finished, if you don't mind calling Senjuro to the table, I'll dish out the food" you smiled, trying to lighten the mood.

Shinjuro nodded before walking out and leading Senjuro over to the table.

You and Kyojurou sat on the opposite side of them and while you dished out the food it made you feel a bit uncomfortable, everyone was staring at you and you were a pretty shy person so you didn't really like to be looked at by multiple people at once unless you had a distraction, like Kyojurou.

After dishing out Kyojurou looked at you and smiled "Thank you love" he took your hand and kissed it.

That made you blush madly crazy, but you now were only focused on him. You began to eat and so did the rest. There was a long and awkward silence throughout the whole dinner, but if eventually ceased when Shinjuro decided to speak up.
