•~Chapter 1~•

It was August 13th, 2026. 

It was a sunny day, the UA students were on the training camp grounds. The day was filled with the laughter of the students. The sunlight felt warm on their skin, the wind blew through their hair, the birds chirped, the grass danced, and leaves and branches slightly brushed against each other.

The students were having fun but were also nervous about the upcoming practice battles that were soon to begin. Amid the students, no one was as nervous as a specific girl on the sidelines.

 The tingling feeling of breath on my ear and shoulder made me giggle, I had arms wrapped around my waist and neck. Bakugo was behind me while Deku was in front. 

They had a race that I was a referee to, and they were tired so I let them rest on me. I felt the warmth of their bodies on my skin. It was nice to see them get along, even if it was for a moment. 

" Sooo, when are you two going to let me go? I assume you both have rested enough."

Bakugo glared at me as I gulped water nervously. 

Maybe I should've just stayed quiet.

" I'll get off of you when I want pink cheeks."

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Deku give Bakugo a warning glare. " Don't be rude to her Kachaan! She needs space at times you know."

Bakugo just stared at Deku unamused as he stuck his tongue out at him, " Says the one doing the same thing as me!!"

Deku blushed and dug his face into the crook of my neck in embarrassment. " I'm sorry Uraraka, your just comforting."

I just chucked nervously as I set the water next to my clipboard on the ground. " Well, I can't blame you if you say it that way."

Everything was going well for the UA students until a disaster happened. A disaster that changed the UA students' lives forever.

After a while, Deku and Bakugo went to race again. They were practicing and I was in charge of their scores and routine. Each of Class 1-A had an assignment we had to complete, and it all depended on our teamwork. 

I sat down on the bench that was nearest to me to relax from standing for so long. I smiled as I glanced down at the stopwatch in my hand and heard it beep. 

" Well, looks like you two beat your latest score!"

Deku smiled widely in excitement as he jumped up and pumped his fist in the air, " Yeah! We're getting so close to beating All Might's record!"

Bakugo smirked as smoke started coming out of his hands in excitement, " I'm gonna destroy that bastard's record!"

I just smiled at their reactions. Even though they are usually arguing with each other, when they're teaming up, they're a very powerful duo.
