The boy and the girl sat in the back of the bus. Listening to music and looking at the sunset, the melodic voices ringing in their ears in a daze.
Blocking out the voices in the bus. Thinking they're the only two people in the world.
Water dripping off of the seat. Clothes completely soaked but the two didn't care. The girl traced the water droplets on the window with her finger as they raced down the glass.
She turned to look at the boy and smiled. Her eyes closed as the corner of her lips lifted upwards. He stared at her in awe.
Her.
The way she still uses an MP3 player as if it's 2010.
The way she knew every lyric to every song.
The way her eyes twinkled when her favorite song came up.
The way she looked at the colored sky in a euphoric state of mind.
The way she looks at him.
The way every little thing she does makes his heart beat faster and his thoughts run wild.
The girl turned back around facing the window and huffed softly on the window, and traced a heart where the small misty cloud was.
The girl giggled softly and closed her eyes as she listened to the music with a smile on her face.
And that's when the boy knew he fell for the girl.
No.
He's still falling.
In this bottomless pit.
Where his love for her grows deeper and deeper the farther he falls into this never ending hole.
The boy looks into the girl's eyes.
And he sees stars.
