20 year old Eddy Chen had just finished his tiring day at Music Uni and was prepared to go back to his apartment and take a nice long nap. He took his violin and, with it being so light compared to a cello, still struggled to haul it home, his arms sore from the long stretches of lectures and, of course, practice.  "How do those cellists and bassist even get their instruments around?" Eddy wondered.

He made his way down to the train station, hurriedly trying to catch the next train. Suddenly he felt a forceful jolt as someone ran into his shoulder, and a sharp pain in his shin. Eddy, flustered and in a hurry, began to brush himself off, apologising to the stranger repeatedly. He looked to his side to see two knocked down violins in their cases, lying on their sides. He glanced upwards and saw the young man checking on them, looking for any damage.

"I-I'm so sorry...Are you from the Music Uni as well?" Eddy stammered, scrambling to his feet, rushing over. The man looked up, and Eddy felt himself blushing, his cheeks a slight shade of pink. He seemed to be around Eddy's age, with thick jet black hair and glasses of the same dark shade.

"Yeah, I think we're in some of the same classes too." The young man said, who seemed now to be entranced by Eddy's presence. "I-I'm sorry." He said, flustered and shook his head to focus. "I'm Brett. Brett Yang. What's your name?"

"Umm.. E-Eddy Chen..." Eddy said, who also had been in a trance as soon as he had met Brett's eyes. "I see you play the violin too. By the way sorry for the mess I caused. Is your violin ok?" Brett asked. Eddy turned the case over and unlocked it, inspecting his violin and bow. "Yeah it seems fine. Yours?" "Yep, it's ok too." Brett answered.

"Well, I just missed my train.. Do you want to wait with me for the next one?" Eddy asked. "Sure! Brett said, getting up with a sweet smile on his face. Eddy felt his face getting redder and hurried to follow Brett.

They sat down on the bench, and Eddy offered some crackers which he found in his bag, which Brett gladly accepted. Soon the train arrived and after a few minutes, Brett had come to his stop and Eddy waved goodbye. "Ugh, I should've at least asked for his number..." Eddy thought, his heart pumping from the adrenaline.

He got to his stop, ran into his apartment, flopping onto the unmade bed and, without even eating dinner, fell asleep, with sweet dreams of a certain someone he had been thinking about.
