The void stretched as far as the eye could see. Nothing mortal nor living could exist in a place such as that. There was no wind, no sound, no light or shadows. Yet one could see, one could breathe, one walked through the barren land.

Rouch's thick, golden fur stood out against the blackness. Her amber eyes stared dully at her daughter in the cage. FC sat behind cold, metal bars, gently weaving yellow flames around her fingers. She wore a bored expression.

"Why must you use those dreadful flames," Roach asked, her voice low and sorrowful.

"They have the most potential," FC replied simply. "I rarely ever see beauty in anything. But I must admit, the golden flames have a certain feel to them that one can't help but admire."

Roach's ears flatted. "Only if you've never been on the other side of them. Those flames you've cursed so many with have shattered civilisations."

"I know. I was the one who shattered them."

Roach's gaze travelled to her paws. Her tail was curled nicely around them. "What happened to you? What happened to the Friendly I raised?"

FC's golden eyes glanced at Roach. "Nothing happened." She got to her feet, walking up to the bars of her cage. "How long exactly to you plan on keeping me here, mother?"

"For as long as it takes for you to come to your senses."

"Aw, but it's so boring here!" FC crossed her arms as she whined.

"I'm sorry..." Roach stood, lightly groomed her chest, and began padding away. A wide, unnerving smile crept from eye to eye on FC's face.

"You think this cage can keep me here?" FC let out an insane laugh. "You're crazy, just like me!"

Roach turned, witnessing as golden flames burst from FC's spirit-like body and melted the cage within an instant. Roach backed away, terrified by the flames. She turned tail and ran as fast as she could, leaping through a vortex.

FC summoned a portal and hopped through it. The blackness turned to blue skies and calm oceans and she felt herself falling from the sky. Her flipped herself upward and crashed feet-first into the wooden raft everyone resided on. The impact snapped the raft in half and everyone stared in horror at FC.

"Don't think you can get away so easily," she barked. "No, my game isn't finished yet! It's time for stage three to begin!"

Before anyone had time to react, the ocean opened beneath them. Their cries faded as they were sucked under the waves. They all disappeared, leaving FC laughing to her self.

"Oh, this is going to be so much fun!"
