-Meanwhile in Appleloosa-

As AJ was driving down the road, he said "AJ, that's who...is here to help you!" He went up to a pegasai pony named Open Skies who was struggling to get his carriage started, but it kept sputtering as he said "Hey, Open Skies." "Hey, AJ." Open Skies said. "Gosh, I'm so sorry. I thought I could make it this time, but..." The engine in the carriage sputtered again, and stalled as he said "Smooth like pudding, huh? Ah, who I'm a kidding. My carriage will always be a broken one." As AJ hooked Open Skies's carriage onto his own, and started towing him, he noticed the oil leaking from it, and he said "Well, dadgum, you're leaking oil again. Must be your gaskets. Hey, look on the bright side. This is your tenth tow this month, so that means it's on the house!" As he drove his way back to town, Open Skies smiled, and said "You're the only one that's nice to ponies that drive broken carriages like me." "Don't sweat it." AJ said. "These things happen to everypony, Open Skies." "But, your carriage never leaks oil." "Yeah, but like the carriage, Ah ain' perfect." AJ said. "Don't tell anypony, but Ah think the rust on the carriage is starting to show through."

As they drove past the billboard that says 'Welcome To Appleloosa. Home Of Rainbow Blitz.', Open Skies said "Hey, is Rainbow Blitz back yet?" "Not yet." AJ said. "He must be crazy-excited about winning his fourth Equestrian Cup." Open Skies said. "Four! Wow!" "Yeah, we're so dadgum proud of him." AJ said. "But, Ah sure wish he'd hurry up and get back. Cause we got a whole summer's worth of best friend fun to make up for." Just me, and-!" He stopped talking when he spotted Rainbow Blitz talking to their friends. He started to speed up as he said "Rainbow Blitz!" Open Skies held on for dear life as he said "Uh, AJ?! I'm in no hurry! You don't need to go so fast!" They hit a bump as he caught air. On the other side, Rainbow Blitz was talking with his friends as Firelight said "Oh, Rainbow Blitz. Welcome home!" "Good to have you back honey!" Fire Flare said. "Congratulations, brony!" Forest Praiser said. "Welcome home, soldier!" Rockhoof said. "The place wasn't the same without you, son." Sheriff Silverstar said. "What?" Granny Smith said. "Did he go somewhere?" It's good to be home, everypony!" Rainbow Blitz said.

"Rainbow Blitz!" AJ said as Rainbow Blitz and his friends looked ahead to see AJ driving into town as he said "AJ!" AJ skidded down the road, and flung the carriage he was towing into Record Scrape's place as Open Skies said "Whoa!" He landed in the hydraulic lift as Record Scrape said "Hey. How far'd you make it this time, Open Skies?" "Halfway to the county line." Open Skies said as he stepped out. Record Scrape pressed the button as he said "Not bad, brony." "I know!" Open Skies said. "I can't believe it either!" AJ parked his carriage, and stepped out as went up to Rainbow Blitz, and said "Rainbow Blitz, welcome back!" As they started doing brohooves, Rainbow Blitz said "AJ, it's so good to see you!" AJ smiled as he said "Boy howdy, you ain't gonna believe the things Ah got planned for us!" Soarin smiled as he looked at Granny Smith, and said "These best friend greetings get longer every year!" AJ and Rainbow Blitz stopped doing the brohooves as AJ said "Ya'll ready to have some serious fun?" "Well, actually, I've got something to show you first." Rainbow Blitz said as he lead him to the Appleloosa museum.
