The Summer of 2014

I spent the first few days of summer saying my goodbyes to my friends on the block. I would run back and fourth trying to find all of them. Around June, I finally moved into the new house. Life started out slow. I never left my room for much. Before I knew it, our house was being bombarded by new plants, new chores, and new animals. First, it was chickens, then the rabbits, then the goats, and finally, ducks. (I had chickens, for god's sake! Chickens!) Soon, the ducks would leave, but they were my favorite animals. I had a girlfriend nicknamed Ducky at the time, so it made for a great story.

I had my games only. That was the only thing I wanted. The only thing I cared about at the time. With me being the social one, having no friends again really hit me hard. I tried to make relationships online, gaining more friends was the one thing I would try to do. I had almost given up hope on the entire Silverwings Community, thinking the end of my short career was near. I resorted to writing to calm my nerves. I wrote very few stories and never really acknowledged how good I was doing.

Most of my time would be spent lying around, watching TV, or playing games online with the few friends I had. Life wouldn't come easy. Soon the Mississippi weather started showing it's stripes. The weather hit the hundreds. Sleeping was impossible with my sister blasting her TV all night long, so i became restless and short-tempered.

As summer continued on it's prolonged path, I started getting back on to YouTube and creating my gaming videos, which pushed me inside even more. Every few days, we would go to the store to get groceries and bring me with them. Some days i would meet a few of my friends from the old school, hoping i would get a warm welcome, but received more of a cold shoulder from them. After a few days of trying, i gave up and stayed home.

After July passed, i had almost nothing to do with my friends. Life buzzed by until school was hours away. That night i just stared at the roof, waiting to go to sleep. Hours went by like years. Every minute felt like a day, passing slowly, until it was 5:00.
