Leilah dreamed of conflict and war. She dreamed that they were losing, too many casualties having an affect on the children of Hades as they felt souls leave the earth. She, as a descendant of Hades also felt this pain, though not to the extremity of his children.
"Help." she heard a feminine voice over the screams of despaired and dying, "Help me please, someone!" her head twisted in the direction of the wails.
"I'm coming hold on!" Leilah fought her way through the battling teenagers, because that's all they were; children fighting the adults war. But of course, she, like the others, didn't have a voice or choice in the matter, they were merely disposable soldiers.
"Help, Oh gods no! Please!" the voice crescendoed.
Leilah broke through the fighting crowd, to a dark haired girl screaming as the battle continued in a clear circle around her. Nobody was paying attention to her as they continued in combat with swords and knives, arrows raining down every so often killing a few here and there.
She ran to the girl but as she got closer Leilah came to the horrifying realization that girl screaming was herself. She was wearing a white dress with blood splattered on it as she clutched her bulging stomach.
Leilah made eye-contact with her other self before she collapsed on the ground clutching her stomach and screaming so loud surely the gods could hear her. Leilah ran to her other self and held her in her arms, the battle around them fading into background noise.
"Protect them." her other self whispered in pain and guided Leilah's hand to her stomach. She was pregnant and dying.
A shadow fell over the two Leilah's before a knife came in her peripheral vision, flaming red hair belonging to the culprit before Leilah woke up. The face fading from memory as she woke up.
"I swear to all the Gods, that better have not been a premonition." she groaned while sitting up on the gym floor, clutching her head.
Leilah was alone in the gym, the timer having just started blaring. Memories of what happened before she was knocked unconscious flashed in her mind.
"Oh gods, Elena."Leilah pounced up, an ache in the back of her head throbbing, before she quickly made her way out of the gym in hunt of her cousin.
She ran down the corridor, clutching her head in pain. Familiar screams echoed down from a room that Leilah sprinted to. She threw the door open, ready to defend her cousin.
All occupying the room turned their heads at the new arrival. Elena was relieved to see that her cousin was okay, Klaus too as he didn't want to see her harmed in the long run, he wanted to know more about her. Stefan was simply just trying to stop himself from tearing his girlfriend to pieces; it was not going too well.
"Oh love, wonderful to see that you're okay." Klaus smirked from where he was grasping a struggling Stefan in his grasp.
"Let them go Niklaus." Leilah whispered, pleading for him not to destroy the lovers.
