Breaking Dawn-Part 3.

Chapter 3

'Alice,' I whined. 'Have I ever told you you're crazy?'

'Yeah,' said Alice laughing. 'Plenty of times.'

Alice gave me a once over. I turned to the mirror and regretted it immediately. Alice had dressed me up in a dark red long sleeved dress that fell down loosely around my waist. The sleeves were red lace.

'Do you want to wear this?' Asked Alice holding up the necklace Aro sent me as my wedding gift.

'Hell, no.' I said shaking my head.

I took it from her hand and threw it to a corner of the room. I didn't even want to see it. It brought back memories-human and vampire both- that were better left alone. Voltury and their stupid rules!

Alice came from behind me and fastened a necklace with a red diamond in the shape of a heart around my neck. She did my hair in a French braid and I was ready.

She held up red stilettos and my human horror for those still somewhat lingered even though my balance was perfect. Alice rolled her eyes at my expression.

I grabbed the shoes with a frown.

Just then Rosalie came in and my jaw dropped. There were no words to describe how beautiful she looked. She looked dashing in a peacock blue dress. Sapphires hung practically everywhere. On her fingers, wrists, hair, ears and throat. To say the least, she looked fabulous.

'Jacob came,' she announced.

'Did he leave in the first place?' Asked Alice smirking.

'For about five minutes,' said Rosalie laughing.

We heard the sound of distant laughter and knew the wolf pack was arriving. So I went downstairs with Rosalie while Alice got dressed. Downstairs, the living room was decorated with many kinds of beautiful flowers that reminded me of my wedding.

Edward was in the doorway with Emmet and the sight of him in a tux still took my breath away. It was impossible to get used to how perfect he was. My human vision had never done any justice to how gorgeous he was. I'd thought his was the only face I knew as well as my own. Maybe even better. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The first sight of him after I was turned shocked me. He was more than perfect.

He came over to kiss my forehead.

Alice came down the stairs in a long mavue dress with Jasper by her side. Esme and Carlisle followed. Esme was dressed in a brown dress that made her look tiny and feminine.

I was standing with Edward's arm around my waist when Jacob came in with Renesmee.

After exactly one minute the wolf pack entered.

'Hello Dr. Cullen.' Said Em nodding.

'Hello Sam,' Carlisle could make even those few words sound respectful.

I just smiled with all of them because I still had a hard time getting over the fact that they had wanted to kill Renesmee. Had wanted to kill me if that's what it took to destroy my beautiful daughter. But that didn't change the fact that they had stood by us and had been willing to fight alongside us to save Renesmee.

I looked over at Renesmee standing behind Jacob observing everyone.

The pack wasn't hostile anymore, but they didn't look overly friendly either.

I just hoped Alice's get together party would turn out to be a success.

I looked at Sam and Carlisle talking like they were the best of friends.

Seth had stepped up to break the tension. Once the wolves were past awkwardness, they knew how to have fun.

Paul was dancing under the disco ball with Renesmee and she looked really happy. Paul laughed really loudly sometimes so I knew she was showing him her thoughts.

The others were also having a great time. Everything was really loud and wild. Even Leah was talking with Emmet as if he was a member of the pack.

'You really shouldn't.....' Alice was saying to Jared while checking her phone and then stopped what  she was going to say mid sentence.  I knew that look.

I was beside her in less than a second. She dropped her phone like it was on fire and I caught it reflexively. I looked at the screen and gasped in horror. Edward wrapped his arms around me soothingly.

'What is it?' Asked Esme.

'An email.' I said looking at Alice.

'From?' Asked Jacob.

'The Voltury.' Edward answered tightening his arms around me.

Hello to all Twilight fans and everyone reading this fanfic. ^_^ Looks like the Cullen family is in trouble again. But why? Because of Renesmee? Nah, can't be. They had that problem solved last time. Then why did the Voltury email them? What happened to good old traditional mail service?
