No one POV

Gaz looked up at Zim in shock. Why did he not put "human" on the end of her name? And why was he not an invader? Zim reached out his hand for Gaz to grab. "Up." Gaz hesitated for a moment, but then grabbed his hand. Zim struggled to pull her off the ground, so she just got up herself. "Sup Zim, still a shorty I see." Zim looked away from Gaz as a light blush dusted his cheeks. "Hehe, yeah." Zim diverted his vision to the creepy man on the floor, who was still writhing in pain. "S-Sorry you had to deal with him. Humans like that are disgusting." Gaz smirked at Zim. "Tell me about it, thanks for saving me- Gaz was interrupt by being pushed to the ground again, but not by the creep. 'Huh?' She looked down and saw Zim, tightly embarrassed her.

He held onto her for a few moments, before breaking out into tears that started to seep through her shirt. "Surprised" wouldn't even begin to describe her shock right now. "Zim, why are you crying and hugging me?" Zim sniffled and wiped his tears before facing Gaz again. "I-I missed you." Tears continued to drop down his face as he released her and stood up again. "S-Sorry." Gaz got off the floor as well and composed herself. She stared at Zim's face for a moment before placing a hand on his shoulder. Zim flinched at her touch, halfly expecting her to beat and yell at him. Gaz just stood there  and stared at him a little longer, then pulled him into her gently. Zim was stunned as she began to rub his back as she hugged him. He felt tears begin to reappear in his eyes as she stroked him softly. Zim wondered if this is what affection was like, if so, he really liked it. Zim slowly returned her hug and a tear fell onto the dirty floor. "I missed you too, Zim."

By now the creepy guy was long gone, but it didn't matter to them. They were far too busy embracing one another. They stood and hugged for about a minute until Zim let go of Gaz, respecting her boundaries. "T-Thank you, Gaz." "You're welcome, shorty." Then, as if by queue, GIR came running through the open front door and began screaming. "HELOOOOO PRETTY LADY!" Zim and Gaz giggled as the little robot dog ran around them in circles. "Classic, GIR. Classic."

Gaz gently closed the door to the apartment. Dib fell asleep on the couch while watching the newest episode of Mysterious Mysteries. 'God, he's still obsessed with that show.' Gaz tiptoed over to her bedroom door and carefully unlocked and opened it. She motioned for Zim and GIR to come inside and be quiet. They both nodded and tiptoed over. But before they could get inside Gaz's room, a small rustle could be heard behind them.

Zim and GIR froze. Zim had a scared expression on his face, while GIR displayed a look of confusion, not understanding why they froze. All of the sudden, loud fast-paced stomps came from behind Zim and slowly got louded. Zim looked to Gaz for an explanation and pointed behind him, but Gaz said nothing. She just had her signature annoyed expression on her face, motioned toward whatever was stomping behind them. Soon the stomping stopped and it became quiet. Zim began to sweat and became more scared, he was confused why Gaz wasn't doing anything. Suddenly the silence was broken by a loud, cracking, screech that came from behind Zim.

"ZIM!"

Gaz let out an annoyed sigh as Zim cringed as the voice of his former nemesis. Before he could turn around to confront Dib, Zim felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist and hoist him high into the air. Gaz stifled a laugh as her brother spun around with Zim in his arms. GIR mistook this as a game and soon also began to spin with them. Gaz could no longer contain her laughter and started rolling on the floor and laughing uncontrollably. Watching these two idiots was just too hilarious to her.

"Okay Dib, put him down. I don't think my stomach can take it."
