"You still have the time to rethink this

"You still have the time to rethink this..." Yumi casually suggested as if she was talking about the weather. After dropping a bomb, she proceeded to unloaded some folding metal chairs from her car. Being the gentleman I was, I followed along to help her while Y/N was given time to do some thinking. We did the task of setting up the chairs quickly with each other's support. "Oh, my God! Y/N, you gotta stop thinking because he's a nice guy, a little dumb though."

"He's smarter than what he appears to be at the first sight..." Y/N initiated an eye contact until we both shied away. Her beautiful bouquet of roses and forget me nots caught my attention instantly when she lifted it to hide her face behind it.

"Then don't rethink your decision of marrying me... please?" I hesitantly peeped above my feet to see her blush at the request. "Though, why here and why now?"

"I'm making up for the date you planned and I ruined." She took a step closer to me, the bouquet held down near her waist, but before we could zip the distance, Taehee, along with a rather holy person accompanied us.

A man clothed in different hues of white from head to toe ran towards us while almost tripping in his cassock but still shouting, "Yo, peeps! Your handsome priest is here!" His informal ways of addressing us made him look much lesser of a priest. "How do I look?" He asked while posing in front of Y/N.

"I couldn't recognise you at first!" Y/N held her stomach and oddly started laughing with a stranger. "But this moustache looks so fake, Jungkook." She plucked it out effortlessly, leaving the poor man crippling in pain.

"Wha—Jungkook!?" I exclaimed, making him turn around proudly to face me and continue flexing his cosplay skills. "You're sure you won't getting sued for doing this?" I slightly tugged at his clothes, laughing until my stomach started aching.

"Hey, stop underestimating me! My grandfather was a priest." He solemnly fixed the cross he wore around his neck. When we looked at him in awe, he threw his hands up in defeat. "Okay, maybe I'm just lying."

"Watch that mouth of yours. Priests aren't allowed to lie." She marked the unsaid rules and Jungkook was gullible enough to believe her and started pleading for forgiveness.

Y/N and I walked down an imaginary aisle hand in hand. Jungkook pulled out his phone to read the script. "So I stayed up whole night watching strangers kiss— Like, I watched some wedding clips to know what a priest actually does so you can't say I'm naïve. I even prepared a script, get ready for the best wedding of your life." He raised his wrist in the air with the overflowing confidence.

"I don't know why I'm here... We always do boring stuff in Busan!" Taehee annoyedly took off the makeshift tiara Jungkook made for her by plucking the grass and some low-lying flowers.

"Don't worry, kiddo, I'll take you out after your parents get married. I'm aunt Yumi by the way." Yumi smiled her widest smile while extending a hand in friendship, only to get rejected by the kid.
