Hate

"I like that name." Harry said.

"Are you sure? I mean, I really like it but is it a good name?" Louis asked.

"Yes ofcourse it is." Harry answered.

"It's a beautiful name." Gwen added.

I still saw some doubt in Louis' eyes, he looks at me.

"Lou.. it's a great name, but if you don't want it.. we will look for another one. And if you do like it-" I said.

"I do."

I smiled "Ok so.. welcome Clifford."

*Louis' POV*

"Thank you."

Kate looks up, she's confused. She frowns her eyebrows, "For what?"

"Everything. For letting me keep Cliff. For letting me keep Kevin. For taking care of me, being there for me. Everything." I said.

She waves her hand through my hair, making it a real mess. I place my head on her shoulder.

"You don't have to thank me. You are the older one so you decide which animal stays and which one not. You are the one that takes care of me and ofcourse I am always there for you, you are my brother." she said.

I pull myself of her shoulder and look her in her eyes.

"We are in this together, we make decisions together. And I might be the older one but we both know who takes care of who." I said, with kinda a weird voice.

She laughed, "Are you crying??" she asked.

Maybe I was.. "No.. my eyes are just sweaty." ok I was definetly crying.

"Ahwww, come here." she kissed my forehead and hugged me.

"I love you." I said.

"I think my eyes are also getting kinda sweaty.. I love you too!" she said.

I look over Kate's shoulder while I'm hugging her and I see Gwen and Harold standing there, they look awkward.

I whisper in her ear, "They seem awkward.. should we let them join our hug?"

"I mean they are actually part of this family, right?" she whispered right back.

"Yes." I whispered.

I look up at Gwen and Harold, "So are you two gonna join the hug or what."

Gwen was shocked "What?"

"Well.. you guys are also part of this family and we both love you, so you better come in for a hug before it's too late." Kate said.

"What's up with being so emotional? I kinda like it. Oh and I also might be crying, not sure yet." Harold laughed while joining the hug.

All three of us look at Gwen, waiting for her to join the hug. She's thinking, deep in her thoughts.

"Oh shit." Gwen says and she quickly joins the hug.

I think she knows what's going on, she remembers it. She remembers why Kate and I are so emotional right now.

"What's going on?" Harold asks.

"It's the anniversary tomorrow, isn't it?" Gwen asks.

After a long second full of silence Kate answers, "Yes..".

"Oh fuck.. I totally didn't think about that.. I am sorry." Harold said.

"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault she left us." I answered.

We stop the hug and talk for a while, about everything.

"I will call your principal in the morning, you guys won't have to go to school. We can have a movie night." 

I never let Kate go to school that day, and even of she goes to school she wouldn't really be there. He mind would be somewhere else, with someone else.

Harry and Gwen actually don't go to school on that day either, they went to the same thing because they are family and they have been since forever.

*Kate's POV*

I love this tradition but I hate the reason why. I hate.. her.

I know that hate is a really really strong feeling but.. I just can't help it. I don't hate that easily but after what she did to us, I just- .. hate.

"We can also take care of Cliff if we stay at home, you know, set our minds off of things." I said.

"Yes that's a good idea." Harry said.

"We can go to the store and buy some toys for him." Lou said.

"Or we can order it online if you don't want to go outside." Gwen added.

I really don't like to go outside on that day.. it's just, I know she won't get out of my mind for the whole day and that might be dangerous outside.

I smiled, "It's already 1 A.M so I suggest we just stay up all night and watch movies?"

"Yes please." Harry answered.

"I will get the popcorn!" Gwen said.

"And I will get the drinks." Harry added.

Both of them run into the kitchen and Louis comes and sits beside me.

I still have tears in my eyes, I sees it. "Alcoholic drinks please." he yelled.

I laughed and placed my head on his lap.

"Coming right up!" Harry yelled right back.

I giggled.

"Haha what?" Louis asked me.

"Nothing." I said, "I just love you guys."

Harry and Gwen came back from the kitchen.

"And we love you." they say.

Lou plays with my hair, it feels good.

"Everything will be ok.." he whispered, he didn't think I would hear him.

I look up at him, but my head is still on his lap and his fingers still in my hair.

"I know." I said.

He kisses my forehead.

Clifford jumped on the couch. And lied down on my legs.

We all watched some movies together. We watched Call me by your name, that one really made me cry. It made all of us cry, even Louis and Harry.

It kinda reminds me of Harry and Lou.. but they just don't know about their feelings or non-feelings for eachother.. yet.

And I really just hope that their story doesn't end the same way Elio's and Oliver's did. But I actually don't think their story ended just yet.

And the story of my brother and my bestfriend still has to start, and it will never end.. that's what I hope tho.

What happened a couple of years ago? Who are they talking about? Who is "she"? What did "she" do to make Kate hate her? Is this only the beginning of a romance between Harry and Lou or is it just friendship?
