Who the fuck is calling me in the middle of the night. Ugh ofcourse, it's Gwen, guess I'll have to answer it.

"What the fuck is your problem? Can't you just let me sleep.. you know how much I need my goddamn sleep!" I said but like also kinda yelled.

"Kate, stop yelling at me, you know I don't like that." She answered with a husky voice. "You better not be still in bed!"

"Yes I am, what's the big deal? It's like MIDNIGHT GWEN GO TO SLEEP"

"Oh no, it's freaking 7:30AM, and I'm waiting for you at the bakery."

"Oh shit" I growled "You should go to school, I will get ready and come later. Please text Harry that he doesn't have to wait for me." after those words I stopped the phonecall and started to get ready.

Ugh of course I can't find my good clothes immediatly. Should I even do my make-up, I mean I look like shit, but if I do it I will be soooo late. Idk what to do ugh. Who cares I'm late anyway and I don't wanna look like shit on my first day.

When I ran out of my house I saw someone. Someone very familiar. "Harry is that you??" I asked the boy.

"Ello luv." he said smirking.

"Don't smirk at me like that, I have feelings too you know haha. What are you doing here tho, I thought Gwen sent you a message saying I was running late"

"Yeah she did, but as your bestfriend it is my duty not to let you arrive late at the first day of school and all by yourself."

"Oh really, or did you just wake up too late, like you always do?" I grinned.

"I guess we will never know.."

I know what you're thinking, huh is Harry your bestfriend? I thought Gwen was. Yeah well, both of them are.

I know Harry since kindergarten, he came 2 months later than the other kids. Everybody already knew each other and were friends, but not me, I was all alone on the playground and didn't feel accepted, those toddlers were mean creatures. Until Harry showed up, he was so kind, but also nervous. How would I know? Well.. he peed his pants the first day because he didn't know anyone there, and again, the toddlers were mean. They made fun of him peeing his pants while all of them had peed their pants 2 months before that. But I got angry and said that it wasn't pee and that I just spilled my water over him, and that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

I met Gwen in first grade. She had these beautiful long locks of hair, until this stoopid (how Harry would say it) boy named Simon cut it with a pair of scissors. Gwen ran away and started crying, I ran after her. I could hear the kids laugh and Simon said that she was a baby for crying on which Harry answered that Gwen only cries in a cool way and that they never would be able to do that. I saw that those words gave her a slight smile, I comforted her. And since that day I'm bestfriends with Gwen.

2 years ago Gwen and Harry dated for like 5 months, people even used to call them Garry, I preferred Gwerry, but now they're really close friends because we all know who Harry really has an eye on..

What will happen when Kate and Harry finally make it to school? Does Gwen still have feelings for Harry? And who's Harry's crush? find it out in the next chapters of "the things we do for love"!!

HELLOOOO... soo this is my first story, normally there would be more in this chapter but I decided to split it into 2 pieces because otherwise it would be too much. As I said, this is my first story, I know it's kinda crappy but I hope you enjoyed reading it....
