So they both sit down on the sofa. The blonde guy sits right next to Lexi and I feel like he's pretty close for a stranger. But she doesn't seem to care so I don't care as well.

The other one takes a seat on the opposite side of the couch, next to me, facing his friend. I'm very thankful that he leaves more space between the both of us. Surprisingly, he hasn't really said anything yet, his friend is the only one trying to keep the conversation going. He has got some dark brown, curly hair, short on the sides, a little longer at the top. He's wearing some simple black dress pants, paired with a plain white shirt. According to the logo, I'd say it's Ralph Lauren, but I don't dare to look more closely.

Suddenly I feel his green eyes on me. Shit, I didn't even realize that I was staring at him so obviously. I look away quickly, full of embarrassment. I glance over to Lexi, but she doesn't even seem to notice me anymore. The guy next to her has taken her full attention. They're laughing over something and I feel kind of left out. The boy with the curly hair is just staring onto his phone. Great! We had such a nice evening and now everything is destroyed. I'm sitting on a sofa with three other people and I'm still alone.

What kind of weird boys are they even? Obviously one of them does want something from Lexi. I mean, I can understand him. Her long, almost black hair looks very silky and the black lace dress she's wearing really compliments her body a lot.

But the other one... I guess his friend really wanted to come here and he just didn't care and joined him. I mean at least I'm not the only one being left out here.

The minutes pass by and when a waitress comes by, she asks whether we want to drink anything. The tall one orders a mojito for himself and two sex on the beaches for "the ladies". Right when I want to throw in that we can't actually drink yet, Lexi looks at me with raised brows, as if she was trying to say "Shut up!". So I stay quiet. I mean, tomorrow is Saturday, so one drink wouldn't be too bad.

At this point, I would have honestly expected the blonde one to order for his friend as well, since he hasn't talked for the last 30 minutes he was sitting with us. But suddenly he says "One coke for me". And somehow I was sure that this was going to be the only thing he would say tonight.

When our drinks arrive, I go for a little sip first and actually it tastes really good. The next few minutes pass by quickly and we even have a nice conversation - just three of us, of course. We learn that the two strangers go to business school, they're in their third year. The blonde guy, whose name is Matthew actually turns out to be really nice. He explains us, how he wants to become an entrepreneur after graduating and what he wants his business to be like. In his free time he really likes to play soccer and he has a little brother called Anthony. His parents live in New York as well, so he still lives with them instead of living in a dorm. The only thing we learn about the other one is that his name is Liam.

We have all finished our drinks, so Matthew ends up ordering another round and offers to pay, which is really sweet. As intimidated as I was by him at first glance, now I really do hope that there could be something going on between him and Lexi. I mean, he's really nice, so why not?

After finishing my whole drink I really have to go to the toilet. When Lexi offers  to come with me, I refuse. I really don't want to interrupt her conversation. So I go and search for the restrooms on my own. I have no idea where they are so I just end up asking a random girl. Thankfully she can tell me the exact way. The restrooms are cleaner than what I would have expected them to be for a night club, but I hear someone puking so I don't know for how long they're going to be as clean. When I have finished and go over to the sink, I look in the mirror. I can definitely tell that it's already hard to focus, but that's probably from the alcohol. Back in high school I only drank a little beer so I'm not really used to that. But actually, it feels kind of funny, so I don't mind.
