But you know, there are very few students that ever get athletic scholarships. Okay? But there are a lot of schools that give full rides to students who excel in music."Miss Pilsbery started making Olivia and Finn turn to look at each other" Students like you two and I don't know, maybe of you were able to go to college, you wouldn't, say stick up in this town in a dead-end job living hand-to- mouth with a wife or husband and a kid you nreve intended to have, you know? For example. That's just something odd the top of my head."Miss Pilsbery continued " So you think if we stick with Glee taht one of us could get a scholarship? "Finn asked " Its definitely a possibility. You know? And if you did well at regional, maybe you could, um, generate some interest." She said " But we lost Rachel. Do you think we can do it without her? "Finn and Olivia ask at the same time " Sure."Miss Pilsbery said not convincing us" Definitely. But if you're so concerned about your future and, um, those who may be part of your future soon, um, maybe you could just give Rachel a talk. You know she if you can get her to come back." Miss Pilsbery said making Finn nod his head

" Guys is like to introduce you to someone very special. This is April Rhodes. She's out newest member. "Mr Schue said " Wait so old people can join glee club now? " Finn asked very confused " Old, huh? You guys look like the worlds worst Benetton ad. "April said that chuckles " Mr Schuester, this seems like a terrible idea" Artie said "April is a great singer. And she never graduated." He answered "We appreciate what you're trying to do, but she's no Rachel." Mercedes said "Who's Rachel?" April asked "Sh-Shes kind of our star." Tina answered "You're star, eh? Well, where is she?" She asked "She left. To be the lead in Cabaret." Kurt answered which made April let out a light chuckle "Hey, Tinkles, give me 'Maybe this time' in B flat. And don't let me catch you snoozing." April said

Mr Schue asked his Spanish class "April" He said "Para" she answered "Por" He gave her the correct answer "Oh, I guess I better pour myself another Crabtini." She said making everyone but Olivia laugh she just rolled her eyes "I'm just kidding. It's hot chocolate." She said before the bell went "All right, remember, guys, oral reports Wednesday." Mr Schue said as everyone was packing up ready to leave. "April can I talk to you for a second?" Mr Schue asked as Olivia left the class

Olivia was waking down the hall with Quinn. Quinn told her how Puck had told everyone she was pregnant and how it was his. Olivia was so mad, she was going to tell them when she was ready. Puck saw Olivia in the hall way and by the look on her face he knew Quinn had told her. "Puck how could you" Olivia said pulling him into an empty classroom "You know I was going to once I was ready in my own time" Olivia said trying to stay calm but it wasn't working. "Liv I only said because they were they kept guessing and talking about you, it was getting to be and I said it with out thinking I'm sorry" Puck said trying to calm her down "I know" Olivia said before walking out the classroom leaving Puck in his thoughts

Everyone was in the choir room doing vocal warm up exercises in cowboy clothles. Mr Schue walked in clapping his hands. "The house is packed - - you guys are going to kick butt tonight. Your first performance in front of a real audience. I can't wait. You guys are going to love it. Where-Where's April" Mr Schue questioned "Yee-haw" April said walking in "right on cue, as usual. Hey roller-boy. Handsome. Oh I like that color. Have you been working on the, uh, moves we talked.. You've got something right there, on your..." April said before kissinf Puck. Olivia looked in shocked, she knew Puck had slept with basically the whole school but she thought he had changed. "Uh, oh.." Puck said "Honk" April said honking Kurt nose. "There's my boy" She said to Mr Schue "Are you drunk" Mr Schue asked her. "You promised me you'd sober up for this." Mr Schue said "When? Last night? Well, I was drunk. You can't hold me to that."April said playing with his tie." Hit it, knuckles" April to Miss Pilsbery. April started to warm up as Mr Schue left the room with Miss Pilsbery.
The new directions were back in the choir room in their new outfits getting ready, laughing and have fun. "They loved us! We're a hit." Artie sai wheeling himself over to Mr Schue ready for a high five. "Wh-Wh-Wheres April" Tina asked "You were right, Mr Schue. She'd massacre Mariah in a diva off." Kurt said making as all laugh a little. "April is amazing. But she's not in the glee club anymore. It... I, uh... I screwed up bringing her here. It was about me and Glee Club is supposed to be about you guys. You don't need her to be great." Mr Schue said "But we need her for the second act." Mercedes said "I'll just have to go out there and tell them we had to cut the show short. Hey, guys. You were great. Don't worry. There will be other performances." Mr Schue said "Excuse me?" Rachel said said walking in "I think I might have a solution. In show business when a star can't perform, her understudy steps in. I'd be happy to go in for April, if you'd let me." Rachel said "Since when are you willing to be an understudy?" Olivia asked "Since I quit the play." Rachel said "Really? Why?" Kurt asked "I realised being a star didn't make me feel as special as being your friend. If I'd let you down when you needed me the most, I'd never forgive myself. I know all the words to the song." Rachel said "You dont know the choreography." Quinn said making Olivia and Santana nod their head in agreement to what Quinn said. "Then we're going to have to give her a lot of help out there." Finn said "go get in you costume." Mr Schue said
