CHAPTER 5(TALIA)
I know why I forgot my sister, why my parents forgot her, why my, our, other sister Lilly forgot her that sada the king why? Why the cruelty? The most important thing I want to do is show Lizzy to my entire family again but I can’t. Another thing that is bugging me so much is the fact that I am to be married with the king’s son. Why me? Of course it so I have no say because as soon as I am done getting married I will banished once more.
“Well, we will leave tomorrow and stay tonight here, but they can’t find Talia, “Christian is serious his voice clear and his eyes staring at Lizzy in awe. They are great together but I guess I won’t say a thing to them because I really want to be at the wedding.
“So, Lizzy and I will stay in here, in the living room and you and Jeremy in his room,” I explain. Christian gives Jeremy a weird look and looks back at me.
“Ya, I don’t want to sleep in a room with a guy, how about this, us three in here him in his room.”
“Ya, and let him escape… no,” why is he so stupid?
“Fine, Talia you can sleep on the floor in front of the door, Christian and I can sleep on the couches in here,” Lizzy explains. I sigh.
“Fine, we need blankets,” I say looking at Jeremy who has been quiet for quite a while.
“In the basement,” he says after a while. Lizzy and Christian head towards a huge brown door and disappear behind it.
I stand in the living room and look everywhere but, at Jeremy whose eyes are pouring in to me. I feel my knees going numb and my feel my feet doing the same and I fall. I look at Jeremy who is up and next to my side. What is going on? A pain goes through my body and a moan escapes my mouth then everything disappears. I stand to my feet and look at Jeremy in the eyes. He looks frightened.
“What was that?”
“I don’t know,” I really don’t know.
“Let’s go tell your sister,” he says heading out the living room.
“No, she doesn’t need any more problems you keep your mouth shut,” I need to figure this out myself.
Jeremy and I stand there a little longer and wait for Lizzy to come back with Christian. Finally they reappear in front of the door and walk toward us. Both are walking toward me awkwardly and away from each other… what happened? I won’t push it.
“Here,” she says handing me a two blankets and keeping the other four. Her voice is a whisper and she doesn’t even glance at Christian anymore. I won’t ask, I won’t wonder, I won’t even think about it… wait… that’s not possible I have to think about it.
“Lay one blanket on the floor and cover up with the other… see ya in the morning,” wait shes rushing to get rid of me yet she won’t glance at Christian … this is confusing maybe I will ask her tomorrow… or Christian… who would tell me? It shouldn’t matter as long as they get married.
“Okay,” I reply holding out the word a little longer than necessary. I grab the blankets and walk toward a door which is also known as Jeremy the human’s door. I open the door twisting the door knob.
In the room is a plain white huge bed with a plain black cover with white pillows. He has a clock on his desk, which is both black; the time reads 11:23. There are wooden floor boards and no windows. Good the only place he can escape from is the door behind me. As I study the room I see Jeremy go into another room.
