Chapter 12 - The end....

The antidote Hanji had injected in (y/n) worked well. Since she had injected it in her, she didn´t collapse a single time. The extra strength from (y/n) which had been given by the antidote faded away slowly and it passed a little time.~~

~~Time skip to the expedition~~

Levi´s P.o.v.

Erwin had just given the start signal and we rode off. (y/n) rode diagonally left behind me. I am so happy that I got her in my team. Even if she is sometimes a little idiot, she is still the love of my life.

At the same time I also wanted her to be not here, outside the walls. I was afraid it might happen something to her, even if I knew that she is one of the strongest soldiers we have. Therefore, I planned to pay special attention to her.

Within a short time we have been attacked by the Titans, but the outer troops were fine with them.

We rode a few hours but it started to snow.

The outer troops got problems to see from where the Titans attacked and were wiped out more and more.

At some point they even managed to break through to us. Three from the right, two from the left.

"Levi, I´ll take care of the left!" I heard (y/n) shout.

"Okay. And (y/n).... don´t die!"

"I would never, you still owe me something!" She shouted and left the formation. Normally, I wouldn´t let anyone fight alone against two titans. Especially not on flat ground and while it´s snowing that much, but I trust (y/n) and I know that she will get on well with it.

Eren and Petra took care of a Titan and Erd and Oluo of another. I took care of the last one.

As I sat back on my horse, we saw again new Titans run to us. We could see them only because they were so close. The snow disabled our view very much.

We quickly took care of them and finally came to a forest.

Look at all that big ass trees.

(y/n) was now back and rode a little further behind me. In the forest we were protected from the snow and had a good view. Even if I was not sure if we really wanted to see what is before us.

There were always more Titans and we had to separate us. (y/n) and another cadet had to separate from us.

Tch Erwin, why she?

After a short time when they were separated from us, we were attacked by a giant female Titan. I left my squad with the Titan and rode to a meeting place to talk with Erwin.

A short time later I heard Eren roar. He had changed into a Titan. But why? I just were talking to Erwin and we would probably turn back home now, because we had too many losses and now this. I also had, since she separated from us, no sign of life from (y/n).

"Levi, go and search (y/n)." Erwin said and stared into my eyes.

How did he know what I was thinking about?

"Tch."

I turned around and flew with the 3DMG in the direction in which (y/n) was gone.

Reader´s P.o.v.

Panting, I stood on a branch and looked down at the Titan. The other cadet was already torn in many pieces and eaten by a Titan. I aimed at the shoulder of the 15 meter Titan and swung me around him to his back. He waved wildly with his arms around him. I needed to shot somewhere else and ran his arm up to his neck. When I jumped of I heard a crack and suddenly had incredible pain in my right ankle. I must have somehow slipped away.... I shot again on his shoulder and precise cut through his neck.

When I wanted to get away from him, the anchor did not resolve. The Titan just had his arms up. When he would fall over now, he would tear me down and crush me on the ground. I decided the only way, even if this could also be my death. I removed my 3DMG and flew into a tree. I flew through the branches, that luckily slowed my fall a little. But falling though the branches leaves many scratches, and my clothes torn in some places. When I finally arrived on the ground, it didn´t hurt that much. The branches slowed me very well. I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard no Titan. I was leaning against the tree and looked up. At some time it cracked. I looked down and looked at my surroundings - nothing. Now it cracked again but it was a lot louder above me. I could not even look fast enough up, when a large and heavy branch hit my head.

After he had hit my head, he fell next to me on the ground. I could not even at a short distance like this see it. My vision blurred very strong and I felt blood ran from my forehead down my face.

I was just about falling unconscious when I heard that a herd of Titans made their way to me. The sound of the branch must probably attracted them.

When I saw this one Titan, which was almost before me, I closed my eyes and waited for death.

Levi´s P.o.v.

I had heard as a branch broke off somewhere near. Since this was my only clue where (y/n) could be, I flew in the direction. When I finally came to stand on a branch I looked around, and saw (y/n) sat on a tree, blood on her entire face. Her eyes were closed.

"(y/n)!" I screamed and she straightened up her head and looked around her. When she found me, she smiled softly.

Ignoring what was in my area I took aim of a tree near her and was about to swing me to her as I head (y/n) scream. But it was too late.

A Titan grabbed my rope and threw me on the ground. I came up with my leg and could almost see how the bone broke.

I slid up against her legs. Eyes wide, she stared at me. The Titan had probably just lost us from his perspective, but it was only a matter of time when he would find us again.

I pulled myself over to the ground next to (y/n) and took her hand.

She smiled again at me and closed her eyes and let her head fall back. I did the same thing like her and closed my eyes as well.

We waited for the death, which only hasn´t found us yet.
