Part 2 - Date

The next morning theres a bang as something dropped and Samantha walks out of her bedroom as confusion fills her face. Samantha walks downstairs and she can hear rustling and the fridge door open and she wraps her house coat around her body and she says "Hello?" The fridge door shuts and Pete Dunham is standing with a bottle of beer in his hand and Pete looks Samantha up and down in wonder. Pete snaps out of his trance and says "Hey, I'm Pete...I'm Steve's Brother" and Samantha smiles and says "Nice to meet Pete, I'm Samantha...Shannon's Sister" Pete smirks and asks "You up visiting?" Samantha shakes her head and replies "Nah, I'm staying here...I got family troubles" and Pete takes a swig of the bottle of beer and says "That sucks, sorry to hear that. But hey it's great you're gonna be here for the wedding" and Samantha smirks and theres an awkward silence between them. Pete says "well it's up to you, but since you're new here why dont I show you around? We could go grab a bite to eat?" Samantha smirks and asks "Are you asking me out on a date Pete?" Pete grins cheekily and says "Only if you want it to be, Do you want it to be a date Samantha?" Samantha smirks and says "Sure, why not?" Pete looks taken back and he asks "Really? You're going on a date with me?" Samantha nods and asks "Yeah, that isnt a problem is it?" Pete shakes his head and says "No it's fine, pick you up tomorrow at eight?" Samantha nods and says "Yeah, that's fine with me" and Pete nods and he says "I better go, I said I would meet my friends" and Samantha nods and says ''See you tomorrow night" and Pete nods and walks out of the house.

Samantha is sitting at the kitchen table painting her fingernails when Shsnnon walks in and starts to make herself a cup of coffee and Shannon asks "You want a cuppa?" Samantha shakes her head and says "No thanks" and Shannon nods. A moment later Shannon pours the hot liquid into her mug and glances at Samantha and says "There's a new Saw film out in the cinema, I was thinking you and me could go see that tomorrow night?" Samantha looks up at Shannon and says "Ah Sis I cant" and Shannon approaches the table and asks "Well, why not?" Samantha replies with a playful smirk tugging at her lips "I have a date" Shannon's eyes widen and asks "A date? Who with? You've only been here for 5 minutes" and Samantha giggles and says "With Pete" and Shannon's jaw drops and she asks "Pete? As in Steve's Brother?" Samantha nods and says "Yeah, what's the big deal?" Shannon says "You cant go on that date. Trust me, you deserve better" and Samantha stops painting her fingernails and she says as she looks at her concerned Sister "Shan you cant even say that. You dont know Pete" Shannon says "Pete is a thug, all he cares abouts is fighting and getting drunk with his thuggish friends I would stay away if I was you" and Samantha says "Well you know what Shan, you are  not me...I'm going on that date" and Shannon worringly looks at Samantha.
