Haechan found himself standing in the rose field, lost in his thoughts until he noticed a familiar figure not far away. It was Council Jaehyun, one of the members of the council.

"Good evening, Council Jaehyun," Haechan greeted, approaching him.

"Oh, good evening, Haechan. It's past 9; why are you still here?" Jaehyun asked.

"I just wanted to take in the air scented by these red roses, so I asked Yangyang to bring me here," Haechan explained.

"Really? Where is he now?" Jaehyun inquired.

"He's already left," Haechan replied. "And what about you, sir? What brings you here?"

"I wanted to visit this rose field. It's been a while since I've been here. I wanted to see these flowers under the beautiful moonlight," Jaehyun shared.

He began to walk, and Haechan followed suit.

"These roses symbolize someone's love," Jaehyun remarked.

"Yes, but it's also heartbreaking to see some roses standing while others are burned," Haechan observed.

"It signifies that someone's love has already perished," Jaehyun added.

"And what's more painful is witnessing the rose of the one you love burned while yours remains standing, signifying your love still lives," Haechan agreed.

They fell into a momentary silence before Jaehyun continued.

"You know, Haechan, not all roses here are planted by a couple," Jaehyun shared.

"What do you mean?" Haechan inquired.

"You're aware of the story, right? These flowers were planted by someone in love, but love isn't solely for romantic connections. Love, in essence, extends beyond romantic relationships. It could be felt for friends, family, or any other meaningful connections," Jaehyun explained.

"So, these roses could symbolize love between friends, parents, siblings, or any other deep connections?" Haechan sought confirmation.

"You're absolutely right," Jaehyun acknowledged. "In my time here, I've seen various individuals plant their roses."

"Love is truly amazing," Haechan murmured.

"It is indeed," Jaehyun concurred.

Under the moon's gentle glow, they continued their stroll, passing by the resplendent flowers of love.

"Oh," Haechan whispered, eyes widening as he glanced at the roses.

Jaehyun moved a bit ahead, glancing back at Haechan. "What's that?" he inquired.

"Nothing, I thought I saw a firefly," Haechan replied, brushing it off, and they resumed walking.

"You haven't seen even one firefly before? It's been a while for me too; the last time I saw fireflies was when I was 10," Haechan shared.

"Lucky you. There are very few fireflies here; it's quite rare to spot even one," Jaehyun explained.

"Perhaps they fly so high that we can't see them, but they're there, watching us from above," Haechan mused.

"Alright, I'll go with that thought too," Jaehyun responded.

Haechan glanced back at the spot where he had seen the light, but it was now distant, and the glow had vanished.

"Let's head back to the castle now, Haechan; it's getting late," Jaehyun suggested, prompting them to return.

"Are we walking back?" Haechan inquired, to which Jaehyun chuckled softly.
