Jaemin woke up at half-past nine, a leisurely start compared to earlier routines. As he strolled into the dining area, he found the other alphas with the councils enjoying their breakfast.

"Sit down, Jaemin. Join us," Taeil invited, prompting Jaemin to take a seat and prepare his coffee.

"How about you, Fred? Join us too," he offered, noticing Fred observing them while they ate.

"No, I already finished my breakfast," Fred replied.

"Any plans for today?" Jungwoo inquired.

"My father and sister will visit this afternoon. I believe I've successfully concocted the chemical for the trees," Jeno shared.

"What about your friends?" Johnny asked.

"They'll be here too. They're curious about the results of Jeno's potion," Yangyang answered.

"It's not a potion, Yangyang," Jeno corrected.

"We'll be away visiting other lands later, so take care of the visitors," Jaehyun mentioned.

"No problem, we've got it covered," Haechan assured. "Councils, if it's alright, I'd like to head to the library later."

"Yes, feel free to head to the library whenever you'd like," Doyoung responded.

"Who's up for joining me?" Haechan asked eagerly.

"I still need to finish my painting," Renjun replied, avoiding eye contact.

"I have to prepare and double-check the chemical," Jeno added, also looking away.

"How about you, Yangyang?" Haechan inquired with a smile.

"I-I—" Yangyang stuttered.

"You don't have any plans for today, right?" Haechan interrupted.

"No, I do! I need to help Fred clean the castle because Jeno's father and sister are visiting," Yangyang quickly replied.

Jaemin couldn't help but chuckle, knowing they were trying to avoid going with Haechan just to watch him read.

"Haechan, I'll go with you," he offered.

"Ah, finally," he groaned, seemingly relieved to have a companion for his library visit.

"Thank you, Nana," he added with a smile.

"And we're right, he has a new nickname. Congrats, Mr. Na," Renjun said.

Jaemin just let him say that; he's Haechan, anyways, and no one will stop him from creating those nicknames.

After their breakfast, the council had already left, and then Haechan and Jaemin headed to the Council's library. Jaemin was the one who drove the car, and after a few minutes, they arrived.

They entered the house outside, which doubled as a library inside. Haechan immediately began searching for something, while Jaemin sat down on a chair in front of a table, watching him.

"What are you looking for, Haechan?" Jaemin asked.

"Wait a minute," Haechan replied, engrossed in his search. Jaemin complied, waiting patiently. After a few seconds, Haechan approached him, holding a small book that resembled a diary.

"Here," he said triumphantly, "I've already memorized the Izarre dialect, and now I'm going to decipher the things written in it."

He settled beside Jaemin and laid the book on the table.

"Look at this, Jaemin," Haechan pointed, "the first page contains information about the heart of Lucullan and the spell that Head Council Jungwoo cast around it."
