The Sky Under the Sea

"Umm... Can I help you?" I asked Vic uncomfortably. "Well actually, you can. Look I just wanna know why you were looking down during the entire concert." Vic said.
Why did he want to know? Was he only looking at me? Was I that noticeable? All of these questions were flowing in my head until I realized that he asked me a question. I snapped out of it and I looked at Melissa who had a surprised look on her face.

"Oh um well... It's kinda a long story." I said somewhat quietly. "Well, I have time," Vic said with a smile. I looked back and saw a really long line of fans who wanted to get their stuff signed. "How about we go somewhere else?" I looked at Melissa and said, " Just go. I'll stay here and get my stuff signed."

" Ok," I said quietly and walked over to Vic who was motioning Jaime to go finish signing the stuff.

"So uh. Where are we going?" I asked nervously. "Well I was hoping we could go get something to eat. Maybe stop by to that diner." As we were walking to the diner, I thought to myself, Why are we walking to the diner just so he can ask a simple question?

We finally arrived and we both sat on the corner. "I'm gonna go order some food. Do you want something?" Vic asked as he was walking towards the line. "No I'm good. Thanks." Honestly, why did we have to go to the diner? It's not like I was gonna tell him my whole life story. Can't he just mind his own business?

I spaced out quite a few times until he finally came. On his tray he had a burger, fries, and a large drink.

He finished eating and he started asking me some questions. " So what's your name?"
"My name is April"
"Pretty name"
"Thanks"
"So. Uh. You a fan or something?" He asked. "Oh. Um. Actually, I am not. I only came with my friend Melissa because it was her birthday. " I said looking out the window the entire time.
"That makes a lot of sense," he said laughing.
After a while, we found ourselves laughing, joking, and smiling. he was actually really funny and fun to hang with. I realized it was time to go because Melissa was probably waiting for me.

" Hey Vic. We should probably go now it's getting late. Melissa is probably worried," I said already walking towards the door.

I have to admit, I did get a bit irritated at first, but after I got to meet him, I had a good time.
