Third Person POV
At the top of Beacon tower Ozpin and Glynda were watching the arrival of students from Atlas.
Glynda:James sure loves to bring his work with him.
Ozpin:Running a militairy and ab academy can't be easy. Though I do agree it is a bit of an eyesore.
A beep goes off from Ozpin's desk.
Ozpin:Come in.
The elevator opens and a middle-aged man walks out.
Ozpin:Hello General.
Ironwood:No need to be so formal Oz. Were all friends here. Hello Glynda.
Glynda:Hello James.
She walks past him to the elevator and leaves.
Ironwood:She hasn't changed a bit.
Ozpin walks over to his desk and pours coffee for him and Ironwood.
Ozpin:What are you doing here James. Headmaster's don't usually travel with their students.
Ironwood:I thought it would be a good time to catch up on recent events.
Ozpin:The small fleet outside says differently.
James:I brought them as a precaution. Besides I heard that you may have a spy problem.
Ozpin:Yes that is true. But that's not why we're here.
Ironwood:It's not.
Ozpin:We are in a time of peace. Shows of power like these will only cause panic. The Vytal festival is a time of unity between the four kingdoms.
Ironwood:That's why we must keep it safe.
Ozpin:That's why we will continue to train huntsmen and huntresses.
Ironwood begins to walk away. But he stops and turns around.
Ironwood:Let me ask you this. Do you think your children can win a war.
He leaves.
Ozpin:I hope they never have to.
Timeskip
I was in the training grounds sparring with my team.
F/n:Ok guys we have to prepare for the Vytal festival. So we are going to be sparring. Who wants to come at me first.
Nick and Rachel both raise their hands.
F/n:Ok I'll take both of you on.
Nick:Are you sure.
Rachael:Your good but I don't know if you can take the two of us.
F/:Sure I can. Now get down here.
They stand side by side opposite of me. I unsheathe my weapon and get into position.
F/:Who's first.
Rachael starts to come straight at me with here daggers. While Nick teleports. Just as I expected there gonna try and attack me from different sides. I turn around as Nick brings his dual swords down. I block it with my weapon. While he's focused on me I kick him in the gut making him step back. I jump out of the way as Rachael came up behind me. While in the air I turn my weapon into it's revolver form and fire it at her exposed back. The first 2 hit her but she blocked the second 2.
F/n:Nice try but your gonna have to try harder than that.
They both charge at me at the same time. Nick tries to throw a quick flurry of strikes all of which I block. On the last strike I knocked one of his swords out of his hand then slashed him with my own. Rachael came up behind me with her two daggers aimed at my back. The first one hit me but I blocked the second one and kicked her in the face.
Rachael:You really are good.
Nick:Yeah I knew this would be hard but this is on a whole nother level.
F/:I'm just that good.
Nick connects his swords and charges at me again. This time he gets in a few hits until I kick him in the side. As he's trying to recover I send a mix of kicks and slashes finishing off his aura. Mine is still in green. I turn to Rachael and realize she's gone.
F/n:Huh. Where'd she go.
I look up and see her coming from above me. I dodged out of the way but she still hit me. I look at my aura and it is in yellow. I guess in better finish this fast. I fire my revolver making her block the bullets. I then throw a hard punch to her chest draining her aura.
Nick:I guess I was wrong.
Rachael:Yeah,you really are as good as you say.
F/n:Well that was fun. But I'm gotta do something I'll meet you back at our dorm.
Timeskip
As I was walking through the dorms I spotted my sister. I went to talk to her until I saw Ruby bump into her. I listened to what they talked about.
Emerald:Oh I'm sorry.
She helps Ruby up.
Ruby:That's okay. Well I'm Ruby Are up new here.
Cinder:Visiting from Haven actually.
Ruby stares at cinder for a second.
Ruby:Oh your here for the festival. Well exchange students have their own dormitories.
Mercury:We must have gotten lost.
Ruby:Don't worry it happens all the time. Your building is just east of here.
Cinder:Thank you.
Ruby:No problem.
Cinder,Emerald and Mercury walk past her.
Ruby:Oh and welcome to Beacon
After Ruby leaves I reveal myself.
F/n:Were you just gonna keep walking without saying hello sister.
Cinder:F/n. What a surprise. Emerald,Mercury keep going I'll catch up in a minute.
F/n:What did you think of Ruby. She something isn't she.
Cinder:You could say that.
F/n:So are you gonna tell me what we're really doing yet.
Cinder:I just need you to do one last thing for me.
F/n:What is it.
Cinder:There's a white fang rally tommorow. Help Roman with whatever he needs.
F/n:Sure thing.
Cinder:And f/n.
I turn around to look at her.
Cinder:Don't fail me.
F/n:I won't.
Well this should be fun.
That's chapter 9. Sorry if it's a little short. I didn't really know what to do for this chapter.
