Bounded

Emerging from the shadows,
No longer bounded by the chains,
That you call love.
Finally free to explore the world,
You took me from.

Feeling free for the first time,
Not something I'm used to.
I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
I never felt like this before,
Someone come help me.

I need someone willing to show me the ropes,
To show me not to be afraid,
Someone to show me what it's like,
To be truly loved.
To show me that I'll finally be okay.

I'm tried of feeling restricted.
I'm thankful that I'm,
No longer bounded by the chains,
That you call love.
Am I the only one?

I know when you said I love you it was fake.
I always did,
But I wanted and needed a home.
But I broke free,
And am no longer bounded by your chains.
