Chapter 7:

I sighed and propped my face up on my hands on the window pane. The sea waves were sloshing about violently and slamming onto the shore with so much force. I turned around and leaned on the glass. i looked around the big spacious living room, taking in every bit furniture in the low light of the flickering candles.

The electricity supply had been cut off due to the rain and the sun was no where to be found. I shifted my gaze onto Aunt Liz, whose little body was curled up on her rocking chair. Her eyes were dilated in fear, and she jumped at each roll of thunder.

I turned back to look at the curtains of opaque rain. The rain had become heavier and it seemed unending. I slumped down onto the ground, back freezing at the coldness of the window glass. I buried my head in my hands. If the next few days was going to be like this, i'd die. No music, no piano. No beach games, nothing. Just boring boring boring.

"Bwoize~"

Tanner and I looked up.

"Aunt Liz over here will be going out for awhile.."

I raised my brow at Tanner. Is she crazy?! Its raining cats and dogs out there and she's going out? With that state of health?

"Don't worry, i'll just be out for a while." She heaved her frail body up from her comfy rocking chair and hobbled over to the hallway. She reached out a shaky hand and took her long drab-looking coat from the hook and put it around her shoulders before opening the door and making her way out slowly.

The strong gust of cold wind that came through the door from outside almost blew me off my feet. Just then, an idea hit me.

We aren't gonna be so bored after all. We can just be lame. Tanner won't agree, but i'll make him do it. He has no choice.
