The Encounter

『 Lucy's P.O.V 』

" That moron, seriously! Who does he think he is. I know very damn well my looks are worth way more than 1,000 Jewels. " I silently fume and let out a huff of frustration.

' At least I got a new Gate Key though... But still! It was originally 20,000 Jewels just for a Nikora. They're not even that rare... '

" I mean for a silver gate key with no combat abilities, " I sigh and continue walking down the list streets of Hargeon. " That's pretty expensive. " I pull out my silver key from the pouch on my right thigh and plop down on a nearby bench.

" Ouch! " I sat up and placed my hair in front of my breasts and sat back down.

' Today is just not my day, ' Anime tears stream down my face as I place my Nikora key back into the pouch.

I relaxed and started dozing off, the weather only made my urge to fall asleep worse. It was perfect outside, the sun was out , a nice breeze kept passing by, and the temperature wasn't to hot nor cold.

'  A little nap in the sun wouldn't hurt right? '

I heard a high pitched scream and jolted awake from my light slumber.  " The hells going on? " My hand instinctively started reaching for my Taurus key. I slowly retreated my hand when I realized there wasn't a commotion.

' I guess I was just hearing things. '

I slowly got up and started to wonder around. I heard a bunch of squealing and looked over to see a bunch of women flocked together surrounding something.

' I wonder what all thats about? '

As I walked closer I could make out some of their conversations, they said something about a great fire wizard, and a salad manager? 

' Ummm... How do those two things exactly go together? '

I finally approached the crowd and could see a tall man with a dark blue shade of hair that was spiked in many directions and had a black tattoo over his left eyebrow. My heart rate started picking up and, my face started heating up.

' Geez, what's wrong with me? I feel like I just ran a marathon! '

I slowly make my way closer to the front trying to see if I could get a better look at this guy. Once I got to the front my heart starts doing back flips.

' Why do I feel this way? '

Unable to comprehend what was going on with me I turn my left and poke a nice looking lady on the shoulder.

" Excuse me miss? " I just had to know this man's name...

. ' Why do I care? This is so confusing... ' 

She turns my way and gives me a sweet smile gesturing for me to go on. My heart rate goes back to normal and the feeling of adrenaline eventually fades.

I continue, " Who exactly is that man? " The girl's mouth drops open and starts looks at me like I just sprouted another head or something.

' Am I supposed to know him or something...' She turns her head a bit so her eyes were now looking to the left of me.
