Night

Black as a bird
Cold as the sky
The running wind
Just makes me want to defy

Cold water
Rushing through the sink;
Trying to fill it as quick as possible.
But getting captured through my cup.

My pillow
Soft as a blanket
It billows out around me
Covering my cold body

It felt endless,
Peaceless and merciless,
Although people often say
It's the key to the next day

The moonlight fills my room,
the curtains open again.
Just a slip of a pen
And the window would shatter
