You stumbled through the door of your best friend's apartment. Letting out a silent yawn that made your eyes water, dampening your mascara. Colby yawned loudly while setting his things down onto the counter. "Thank you for calling the Uber." his voice was low and tired. Your entire friend group was exhausted and ready to just pass out the second you left that party. It was a party for David so of course it was big and tiring but it was ridiculous that you were almost dead on your feet. " Yeah your welcome," you replied making your way over to his fluffy couch. "What are you doing?" Colby asked while taking off his rings and setting them on his kitchen counter. You cocked your eyebrow, "Going to sleep?" your voice was unsure, you were confused on why he was asking what you were doing. Colby shook his head, his freshly dyed blue hair sprawling across his forehead, "Take my bed tonight. I'll sleep on the couch." Your heart fluttered in your chest at his words but you weren't doing to kick him out of his bed. "No, I'll sleep out here tonight." you replied.

He simply shook his head again and motioned for you to follow him. You stood from the couch and followed into his room where he flicked on the lightswitch, revealing his clean room that had some new pictures hung around the walls. Colby threw you some sweat pants and a black shirt,'"Go get changed," he said before another yawn raked his body. "Thank you," you said making your way to his bathroom. You quickly changed into the comfortable grey sweats and his oversized 'chosen' merch shirt. You slipped on the shirt then went to pull up your hair, checking your wrist you realized that you didn't even have a tie. Letting out a quiet whine you pulled out the first draw in his bathroom, you found your purple scrunchie that you left here a while ago. You let out a small giggle and shook your head, surprised that he still had it. You threw your hair up in a messy bun and washed your face.

Walking out of the now dark bathroom, you entered his room once more to find Colby's former clothes in the laundry basket and a pillow gone from the bed. Confused, you wandered into the living room to find your best friend laying on the couch with all the lights off. You sighed and face palmed, "Colby get your ass in your bed. I'm not kicking you out of your bed." you said making your way over to the couch. "Don't you dare come over here. Get to my bed and go sleep before I kick you out of my apartment," he threatens. You felt bad, you didn't want to make him sleep on the couch when he could just sleep in his bed. It was like Colby heard your thoughts, " Y/n I promise, I'm fine. I don't mind sleeping out here," "But-", " I literally sleep out here all the time." he cut you off before you could even counter argue with him. Letting out another sigh, you turned to go back into his room but you froze before you even took a step.

You slowly turned around back to the couch, "Colby?" you called quietly just in case he was asleep. "Hmm" he hummed. Stuffing your hands into the deep pocket of the sweat pants, you asked, "Can you come sleep with me?" It wouldn't be the first time that you guys slept in the same bed so it wouldn't be weird. Colby didn't reply but you heard the shuffling of the couch. You smiled shortly and walked back into his room. Colby followed you into the room and crawled into the bed. Turning off the lights, you crawled in behind him. You lay there in silence for a minute before you felt warm arms enclose around you, pulling to you a broad chest. A small smile crossed Colby's face when he felt you snuggle into the chest and lay your leg over his hip. You let out a content sigh and relaxed against him. Colby leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head, "Goodnight Y/n." he whispered. "Goodnight Colby."
