THAT ATTACHMENT

CHAPTER 10: PRAISES ALL AROUND

Shehnaaz was already late. Reaching the shoot location she rushed to her vanity and got ready. She looked so beautiful that any man would go crazy for her. She was sitting and thinking about something when someone knocked her vanity door and asked her to come for the shoot in ten minutes. She agreed and sent him off.

Though she was happy all throughout her drive but she felt very heavy at her heart. It felt as if it would burst any time and her emotions would flow endlessly. Though she had forgiven Sidharth to a lot but still had to teach him a lesson.

Before going for her shoot she unlocked her phone and was staring at her wallpaper. It was Sidharth's picture. A tear fell from her eye while caressing it. She said softly, " I hope that you realise soon bebu. I love you a lot and will keep doing so forever! "

Moving out of her vanity, she saw Shehbaaz and called him out loudly. He didnot listen. He was talking to someone and Shehnaaz took that person as some friend of his and she was even in very good terms with his friends. They were very comfortable around each other. She shouted, "Oye, othe oh bandar naal ki kar reha tu( Udhar us bandar ke saath Kya kar raha)? "

Shehbaaz's eyes turned wide as he didnot know what to say. She called Karan Aujla "bandar"? Didnot she see him? *I am gone * he thought as Karan was a short tempered man. Shehnaaz still did not know who the person was and could not get why Shehbaaz looked at her that way. She thought* Iske chehre ka rang kyu udd gaya ab* and Karan turned back. It was Karan Aujla... And she called him a bandar. She was dying out of embarrassment.

She quickly turned around and whispered, " Haye amma... Mai gayi. Shehnaaz kabhi Toh dhang ka kaam kar Liya kar yaar! "

"Shehnaaz", Aujla called her out while moving towards her. She turned around and was looking down. She couldn't speak at all. "Oh Mai.. Oh.. "

"Bandar? Seriously? ",said Karan.

"Oh sorry. Mainu nahi pata si that it was you. I'm so sorry",said Shehnaaz.

He could sense it and patted her back and said, " Oye koina. BTW you are very beautiful Shehnaaz".

What else did Shehnaaz want? Her favourite was complementing her! "Thank You", she said and they headed for the shoot.

Most of the scenes which they shot were done in a single take. Everybody was impressed with Shehnaaz. All she could here was her praises all around.

"Shehnaaz, you are such a natural actor. I would love to work with you more.",said the director.

"Te Hor ki! Saade Punjab di shaan hai Shehnaaz",said the producer.

Shehnaaz smiled at them and thanked them. The shoot for that day was over.
Shehnaaz could remember the time when nobody wished to work with her and even if they did, she had to listen to a ton of taunts. Now it was completely opposite. It was her praises all around. She knew that she would surely make things better some day. He flipped her hair and said, " Huh, Mai hoon hi aisi. ", and laughed. Shehnaaz's happiness always made Shehbaaz happier.

Having packed up all her stuff she saw a message from Sidharth. She is so excited to see it as she was waiting for his text since morning. She could have called him but all she had decide was that under no conditions would she take the first move this time.

" Dinner at my home today! The car's already ready for you outside. Come soon baby! Waiting... "

She jumped with joy and a smile broke out on her face. She was dancing and continuously saying, " Haye ni mera kullu. Haye ni Mera bebu.. Hay ni kuchupuchukullu".

Shehbaaz raised an eyebrow at her and said, " Koi teh gussa si! "

Shehnaaz brought her stern look back and said, " Abhi bhi hoon. Woh Toh aunty ne insist kiya hoga isliye usne text kiya aur aunty ke liye jaa rahi hoon mai. Mai aur iske bulaane pe jaun? Kade wi ni. "

Shehbaaz laughed at her and said, " Oye motto.. Tera bhai hoon mai. Mujhe pata hai tu kyu aur Kiske liye Jaa rahi hai. Maaf bhi kardiya na tune? " He often wondered what his sister was! How easily she forgave everyone! How pure hearted she was!

"Haan Par use aise nahi chodungi. Ruk usko abhi batati hoon", she said keeping in mind all the papads that she had to belwao from him.

" I don't need your fake concern. I have money to get myself food." , she texted back.

Sidharth who was lying on the bed saw this. He was disappointed.

He texted back, " It's nothing like that Shehnaaz. It was completely out of love and affection that maa and I invited you here. It's completely fine if you don't wish like coming. I know you are already upset. I won't disappoint you more. Don't worry! I'll inform maa and give her some reason".

He smirked as he texted this and thought * ab Toh tujhe aana padega baby. Ab Toh maa ka naam leliya. I love you baby. Don't worry.. I'll confess soon! Gonna give you the best gift of you life. *

The moment Shehnaaz read the word maa, she couldn't help but stop her acting. Shehnaaz could never hurt her.

She texted back, " I'll be on time JUST FOR AUNTY.. I hope that you don't have any misconceptions because that's what you're good at.. "

Though he was hurt at it but down the line he was happy that he would see her ATLEAST. He quickly went to his mom and told her that she had finally agreed to come. It made Rita aunty very happy as she said, " Chalo acha hai.. Meri bachi khush rahe bas! "
