college love is for fun.

"Where are you going?" Taehyung asked again but got the hint that something is wrong when he saw his boyfriend tensed, "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah... grandpa is a little sick and I have to visit. He wanted to see me. He thinks he is gonna die soon." Jeongguk quickly spoke, now already pulling out some of his clothes from the cupboard and stuffing them in his backpack, "I need to inform the authority."

"Gguk, calm down. He will be fine." Taehyung back hugged his boyfriend very tightly, "Don't worry."

"Tae." Jeongguk called and Taehyung understood how sad the other was as the raven never call him something other than 'babe', "Grandpa is like my best friend."

"Come on, sit for a minute." Taehyung pulled away and pushed his boyfriend on the bed making him sit when he saw tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Mom and dad used to argue a lot every night. I couldn't sleep because of them. It was grandpa who helped me sleep. He persuaded my parents to let me come here, away from that shithole."

"Now he has to be alright cause I need to meet him, after all, it's because of him that my lucky ass got you as my boyfriend." Taehyung let out a small yet sweet smile making the raven head smile back, "That's right, for him I got to meet you, babe."

"Now, hurry up. You need to get to grandpa, soon." Taehyung pulled the raven head up and started helping him with packing the things, "Remember to call me and update me yeah?"

Jeongguk hummed and could see how Taehyung was now tensed too for someone whom he never met.

"Call me when you reach home, okay?" Taehyung said letting go of the other's hand as the train halted. Jeongguk smiled and wrapped his arms around Taehyung's petit waist before pressing his lips on the brunette's forehead, "I want to say something to you."

"What?" Taehyung moved closer if that was possible and booped their noses together, "People say college love aren't permanent, they are just for fun. Do you think the same?"

"It depends on who they are dating. Like take us as an example." Taehyung said and Jeongguk's heart dropped because he thought Taehyung thought him more than just college love.

"So, I am just your college love. You are not serious about me?" Jeongguk asked not giving the other a hint on how hurt he was. At one side, he had an ailing grandpa whom he loves so much and on the other side, there was Taehyung who just made it clear that it's just for fun. College love was just for fun. He wanted to cry at the moment.

"I meant that, after we graduate, everything will eventually be over. You will be on your way and I will be on mine. This time we are spending together is special but of course it's going to short lived." Taehyung said those words but didn't know if that was totally true or not.

"What did you want to say, Gguk?"

"Babe...." Jeongguk chocked back a tear and pursed his lips wanting to not cry in front of Taehyung.

I got it all wrong― Jeongguk thought to himself and turned around not wanting to face the other. He took a deep breath and walked on the train.

"Nothing." Jeongguk shook his head no and smiled cupping Taehyung's cheeks and placed a kiss on his lips.

"Come back soon, baby." Taehyung said and Jeongguk faked a smile, "I will."

"Until I come back, don't fight with anyone." Jeongguk tried to cheer himself up but felt his chest get heavier with every passing minute.

"I will be your good babe." Taehyung laughed, before the gates could have closed, he pecked Jeongguk's lips and got off on the platform.

The train started and Jeongguk settled on his seat. He stared out of the window praying for his grandpa, ignoring his broken heart.

Cause Jeon Jeongguk started loving Kim Taehyung and for him, the brunette was more than just a college love, he wanted him for a long time.
