Carson

Ashton called me up the day after we met those sketchy people.

"They found them." Ashton sounded thrilled and happy.

"Where are they now?" I said stunned and excited as well.

"They actually live here in San Francisco."

For real? That sounded way too easy.. but it was difficult to find them.

"They are in San Francisco and I got a personal contact number of her Dad who have a small estate company."

"That's wonderful." I said.

"I will forward the number to you and maybe we can make an appointment or meet them."

"Thank you." I breathed a sigh of relief.

He didn't say anything. "Let me know if you have anything in mind."

He forwarded me the number and my heart pounded in my chest as the phone started to ring.

"David Williams." The other end of the voice said.

"Hello." I said awkwardly. "This is Carson."

"Hello Carson." David said. "Do I know you?"

"You don't, neither do I.."

"Okay.." David said.

"I know your daughter.."

"If this is some kind of a joke, it's not cool."

"I know Tracy..."

And I heard him say something. "Go on.."

"If we could personally meet up to talk, that would be great."

"When?"

"Would now be okay? Or Tomorrow?"

"Now would be better." He said.

"Okay. Where are you now?" I asked.

I texted Ashton to meet me up in the Cafe where we will meet her parents for the first time. This was not how I expected to meet my girlfriend's parents, but I'm happy that I can surprise her..

Her parents were beautiful- just like her. Tall and confident and seemed approachable.

"Hello, Mr and Mrs. Williams." Both Ashton and I said as we introduced ourselves to them.

We didn't beat around the bush and neither did they,as we spoke about how we knew Tracy, my relationship with her and what we were planning.

"Do you have any picture of her?" Her mom asked.

"Yes." I said as I took out my phone and open the photos app.

"David." She shriek lightly. "It's that girl we met.. it's the girl I met few days ago.."

Her husband was surprised and smiled, "she's so beautiful." I could see tears in their eyes.

"We have to go there, soon." I said.

"Yes." David said.

"Her grandma is planning to marry her off." Ashton said and I looked at him.

"They should know." Ashton shrugged.

"What?" Hailey said.

"Her Grandma is planning her engagement." I said. I didn't want to tell them, not now..they just found their daughter.

"I'm sick and tired of this." David said frustrated. "We have to go there."

"You might as well talk to your lawyer." Ashton said as he handed them the file with the things we found, illegally by hacking their database.

"What's this?" David asked.

I called Elliot and told them what was going on and what we were planning.

"Shouldn't we let Tracy know about it?"

"Not yet." I said, "We will come over there."

I wanted to surprise her, but most importantly I want her grandma to think that Tracy is helpless in the situation, so we can pull the cards and throw her off-guard.

David was very upset when the lawyers explained to him about the documents.

"We'll protect the anonymity of how we got this document." The lawyers said looking at us.

"Thanks." Ashton said. "We might have to talk to our lawyers as back up." He looked at me and I agreed with him.

"Let's do it." David said, "Get the paperwork started and we will make a file."
