Cassandra,

Josh shouldn’t be made fun of. He is smarter than all of them and definately much nicer. Tell him I really like the picture he sent. I hung it on my refrigerator even though it’s broken and I don’t use it. I do look at it a lot.

I had forgot about that time but that camping trip was one of my favorite weekends ever. Remember after we got to the top of the mountain, you dared me to eat a worm? Your grandpa ate it then paid us ten dollars to do it too. Then we both got sick after. That wasn’t the most fun part though.

We went back to our tent and told ghost stories. You told the best one then my dad scared us by jumping into the tent.

I wish we still did things like that. We always had fun. Josh would like camping. Has he ever been?

P.S. By the time you get this, it’ll probably be Josh’s birthday. Tell him I said happy birthday! Ten is a good age.

Teddy,

Everything you and I did together was always fun! Things just aren’t that way anymore, Teddy. My grandparents are tired, I’ve got my job and Josh to worry about.. I’m not a kid anymore. Trust me, if I could go back, I would.

Josh has never been camping. He loves bugs though and would really like it. If grandpa wasn’t having so much breathing trouble, he would probably take him. I would, but like I said, I have a job. Two, actually. I got another job today as a waitress. It doesn’t pay much but I guess it’ll help.

I don’t know if you really care about all this. I thought about not even sending a letter because I didn’t have anything positive to say. Everything seems to be going wrong lately. Hopefully that won’t be the case for Josh’s birthday party.

Tell me about you. I’m tired of talking about me.

Cassandra
