Cass,

About me? … I’ve been doing a lot at the same time nothing. I’ve been talking to lots of people, just old friends and new ones. I quit my job but not because I was angry. I messed up though so I thought I’d quit before I was fired. Jeff says I shouldn’t quit but take time off. He still lets me live over the bakery. He is a nice man.

I’m not sure where to go from here but I don’t care. I’m still happy. I have enough food to last me until I get another job sometime and now that my grammar is good, I can get a better one.

I’ve got a new friend named Cia, after you since you named your cat after me. She’s white with lots of fur. I found her trying to dig food out of a dumpster. She’s very friendly but I think I’m allergic to her. My eyes are always itchy and I sneeze around her.

That’s all I want to say about me for now. How is your new job?

Everything will work out fine for you. Me too. Someday we’ll get back to the fun lives we left behind.

Teddy,

I hate my job, I hate people. I just hate everything right now!

I was at work (the waitress one) and was taking orders. Well I got to these two snobby chics. They started giving me looks while I wrote down what they wanted. Then they talked about me while I stood there!

“Look at that hideous hair!”, “Is that trailer trash or what?”, “Where’s her face? I can’t see past that face paint!” blah blah blah. That’s not the worst of it.

I brought them their meal and told me everything was wrong about it and they wanted it re-done. So I took it up then accidentally spilled it on one of them. She deserved it but I still didn’t do it on purpose.

Basically, she took it to the manager, he thought about it and took their side that I did it on purpose. I was fired.

On the same day, I was hosting  Josh’s birthday party. I went home and cleaned the apartment and decorated. Josh was so excited… and not a single person came. I invited his entire class and none showed up. He cried for hours, Teddy.

You think everything will work out fine for me? Well,  I hope you’re right because my mind is saying something completely different.
