~~~~~~~~Doctor's POV~~~~~~~~~
Rose and I had been going everywhere we possibly could this week. We had been so busy. I had been thinking for a bit and decided I would take her somewhere nice. Somewhere calm where I knew nothing bad would ever happen. I had just told her to go change out of her warm, winter clothing and put on something light.
She came back down a twirled around me. She leaned back against the T.A.R.D.I.S console and smiled at me.
"So, where are we going today, captain?" she asked me. I grinned and jumped up so I could face her.
"It's a surprise!" I said quickly as I started pushing buttons and pulling leavers. "Hold on tight!" I yelled as we started to move.
The T.A.R.D.I.S threw us around as we flew through the vortex. Finally, we jolted to a stop. I looked up and grinned at my companion. She smiled back, knowing this was going to be fantastic.
I motioned for her to follow me over to the doors. Once we were right in front of them I put my hands over her eyes. I heard her let out a small giggle. I dramatically as possible threw the door open.
~~~~~~~~~Rose's POV~~~~~~~~~

I giggled as the Doctor led me to the door. I heard him throw it open and he moved his hands. I gasped.

All I could see was endless hills and fields of soft glistening, silver grass that sparkled so much, it looked as though it was actually glowing. There all sorts of strange plants and flowers littering the place. Some slightly resembled flowers from Earth, but far more glorious. The sky was the deepest blue I had ever seen, but also had greens and purples and teals mixed into it. There were billions upon billions of colorful stars filling it.

I was so amazed I couldn't even move.

"It's... beautiful," I finally stuttered.

"I know!" he said grinning.

"Where are we?"

"It's a nameless planet. Not many others know about it yet I guess. I used to come here when I needed some time off. That's why we are here. It our day off!"

I nodded so he knew I was actually listening. I just wanted to run forever through the lushes grass. He must have read my mind.

"Take my hand!" he said enthusiastically. I laughed and took it in my own. He started running full speed down the hill we had landed on. When we had finally reached the bottom, he threw himself onto the grass. I followed suit. It was like landing on a pillow! We both sat up, criss-crossing our legs.

"This is truly amazing," I laughed. He grinned at my but then turned around. I tried see what he was doing but he turned around again, keeping one hand behind his back. He smiled then pulled out what looked like a rose. It was an odd mixture of blue, purple, and grey. It was also sparkling like the grass.

"A beautiful rose for you, my dear Rose," the Doctor said handing it to me. I giggled at his cheesiness and took it. It felt pretty heavy for a flower.

"Oi! I have more to show you!" he said suddenly.

"There's even more!?"

"Of course!"

He stood up and pulled my up with him. He started running as fast as possible and practically dragged me behind him. He stopped suddenly and I looked up. We were right in front of what looked like a big pond. The water looked like melted gold and had odd-shaped sliver leaf-like things floating around in it. I dipped my hand into it. It felt just like warm water, but when I pulled my hand out, it was completely dry.

"How does that work?" I asked him. He usually explained this kind of stuff to me.

"It's complicated and I honestly don't think you'll care enough to listen."

"Probably not," I said taking his word for it. I leaned back and laid on the ground. He did the same.

"Thank you so much for bringing me here," I said turning my head so I could face him.

"It was my pleasure," he said smiling and looking at me.

Our faces were barely inches apart. I felt myself getting closer and closer to him. Our lips finally met and it was all I ever dreamed of. I pulled back after a few seconds to see his reaction. He looked shocked at first but then grinned at me.

"Thank god! I was beginning to think I would have to make the first move," he said with a wink. I laughed. He put his hand on my cheek and kissed me again, this time, more passionate and warm. I moved even closer to him until our bodies were pressed together. Our lips separated and he held me in his arms.

I felt so safe and warm. I never, ever wanted to leave his side. He was my doctor, and he had fixed me.

"I love you Rose Tyler," he said, kissing my forehead.

"I love you too."
