Chapter 9 : tour

Riley's pov

These past months have been amazing, I'm living in this beautiful house with my brother,my boyfriend and all my best friends, everyday is a new adventure and I wouldn't trade anything for the world.
I was also really happy because tomorrow we were leaving to go on tour ! I was super excited. It was 9pm and I just finished packing, our flight was at 9:30am which means we have to wake up at 6am so we all went to bed early.

a/n : ok so I literally have no idea how this tour thing works so bear with me lmao. I'm gonna make up my own schedule so don't come @ me lol because I'm sure this will have absolutely nothing to do with how tour actually works 💀 back to the story lmao

—next morning—

Kio- baby wake up
Kio- baby come on we have to get ready
I woke up to Kio's voice as he was trying to wake me up.
Riley : it's too early to be awake
Kio : we'll sleep on the plane, now come on we have to get ready or else we'll be late.
I got up gave Kio a kiss on the cheek and went to the bathroom to do my usual morning routine. When I was done I went downstairs to get some breakfast, I poured my cereal and sat down to eat it. Me and avani talked and I went back upstairs to take a shower. It was 6:45am so I put on a sweater and leggings and did my makeup. At exactly 7am we got in the Uber and made our way to the airport. First destination was New York, I've always dreamed of going to New York so this was probably gonna be the best part of this whole journey !

—skip plane ride—

We landed in New York a few hours ago and right now we are just chilling in the hotel, me and avani were sharing a room the room next to us were Kio and Anthony.
The first meet and greet wasn't until after tomorrow so that meant that we had the whole day off tomorrow which was great !
me and some other creators were sitting in the hotel lobby talking about the most random stuff.
Kio : hey baby can you come here for a second I need to talk to you
Riley : sure
kio pulled me aside so no one could hear us.
Riley : so ?
Kio : I want you to meet one of my family friends, we've known each other since we were born, her name is sissy
Riley : oh cool ! Where is she ?
Kio : but here's the thing..she kind of has a thing for me..
Riley: oh
Kio : don't worry tho, you're the only girl I want
He kissed me and I hugged him.
Riley : so where is this famous sissy ?
Before Kio could answer my question a brunette girl showed up
???- KIO I MISSED YOU !
She jumped into kio's arms which kinda made me jealous, she must be sissy
Kio : here she is !
Sissy : long time no see Kio !
Kio : ye I've missed you
Sissy : um who's this chick ?
She looked at me up and down with a disgusted face
Kio : she's my-
Riley : I'm Riley Richards, his girlfriend !
sissy : girlfriend ?!
Kio : yep
Kio put his arm around my waist which made sissy furious, I loved it !
sissy : Richards ? Josh's sister ?
Riley : yes
sissy : I've heard about you ! You must be the ugly sibling
Riley : excuse me ?!
Kio : ok well it was nice seeing you sissy but me and Riley have to go somewhere so see you later
Sissy : whatever!
She turned around and walked the other way
Riley : what a bitch !
Kio : don't listen to her babe you're beautiful
I smiled at his words
Kio : wanna go get lunch ?
Riley : sure let's go !
We walked out of the hotel and I saw the person I hated the most ! I froze there in shock, it was...jake...
Jake : Riley ! I never knew you were in New York !
Kio : baby who's this ?
Riley : um..my ex, his name is Jake
Jake : and you are ??
Kio : im Kio, her boyfriend
Jake : oh I see I see. Riley ?
Riley : mhm ?
Jake : I thought I told you to go on a diet ! You really should start eating more salads.
Kio : watch your mouth you asshole
Riley : kio calm down
Kio : whatever baby let's go
Jake : before you go I have one last thing to say to you Riley
There was a moment of silence
Jake : I'm not done with you you little slut.
After he said that he walked away and got in his car and drove away
Kio : Riley ?
Kio : baby what is he talking about ?
Riley : he was really abusive, he kept hitting me, punching me, he would get mad at me if I didn't eat Healthy, force me to throw up,he would tell me everyday to wear makeup to cover my ugly face and I wasn't aloud to tell anyone about this or else he would hurt me and my family, it was a miracle that he moved to New York...
Kio : Riley...im so sorry princess I had no idea
He pulled me into a hug and I started crying remembering all the bad things Jake would do to me.
Kio : Riley I won't let anyone hurt you every again, I promise.
He kissed my forehead and wiped my tears
Kio : let's go eat, it will distract you from that Jake bitch
He held my hand and we started walking, the restaurant was 3 minutes away so we didn't need to take a car.

—at the restaurant—

We sat down and the waitress handed us the menus.

Waitress : hello, my name is Emily and I'll be your waitress today ! What would you guys like for your drinks ?
Kio : can I please have a coke
Riley : just water please
Waitress : no problem ! I'll be back with your drinks so you guys can have a look at the menu.
I thought of what jake said and maybe he was right...he just kept on telling me over and over and over again how fat and ugly I was. I know I'm overthinking it but it's not that easy to just let it go...
The waitress eventually came back with our drinks.
Waitress : have you guys decided on what you wanna eat ?
Kio : can I please have one pasta with tomato sauce
Waitress: sure ! And for you miss ?
Riley : I'll just get the same thing as him
Waitress: ok, I'll be back with your food in about 10 minutes !

Me and Kio started talking about tour and our food came. The waitress put it on the table and left. I looked down at my plate and just played around with the food.
Kio : Ry why aren't you eating?
Riley : I'm not really that hungry right now
Kio : bubs please don't think about what that asshole Jake said, he's stupid, you have an amazing body
Riley : thanks babe
I still didn't eat my food and after a few minutes the waitress came back to pick up the plates she took kio's and then looked at mine which had all the pasta still left in it.
Waitress : did you not like pasta miss ?
Riley : oh no it's delicious I'm just not really that hungry
Kio : can we have it take away please ?
Waitress : of course !
She handed us the bag with the pasta in it and we went back to the hotel.
Avani was in Anthony and kio's room so that meant Kio could come in my room for a few hours !!!

Kio's pov :

I'm starting to get worried, Riley hasn't eaten anything since we got here, I can't let that little bitch get inside her head, we arrived to the hotel room and sat on the bed. I pulled the pasta out of the bag and put it in her lap.

Kio : baby please eat
Riley : kio I told you I'm not hungry
Kio : Ry you haven't eaten anything since we got here ! Please don't let that jerk get inside your head, you have a beautiful body
Riley : thank you
Kio : let's go talk to josh about this

We both got up, and walked to his room, we knocked on the door and he opened.

Josh : hey guys is everything ok ?
Kio : no, your sister hasn't eaten anything since we got to New York, and shes refusing to eat the pasta I got her
Josh : Riley what's wrong
He took her hand.
Riley : um, when we walked out of the hotel, we found um...
Josh : it's that bitch jake isn't it ?!
Kio : yes !
Josh : I told him a thousand times to stop talking to you and I'll do it again.
Josh ran out of his room into the lobby, me and Riley followed him down the stairs.
Riley : Josh what are you doing ?!
Josh : I'm not gonna let anyone pick on my sister !
Kio : what's your plan ?
Josh : kio you and Riley go back to your room , I'm gonna find this piece of shit and beat him up
Riley : josh no please !
Riley tried stopping him but he ran out of the hotel
Riley : fuck !
Kio : Josh is gonna be fine, don't worry
