  "Oh my GOD."

Brick slouched against the couch, his hand buried into his hair. Absolute distraught plastered onto his face watching the events on his tv unfold.
Jackle looked up from his book, clearly not paying attention to the screen.
"What?"
"This! I'm so tired of these two characters," he said dragging his hand across his face.
"Oh really now?" He looked back to his book already starting to zone out, "what's wrong this time."
"Well first of all, it's obvious they like each other! Like painfully obvious. They do everything together! They go on trips all the time, they give each other gifts all the time, they even share clothes! I mean I'm assuming they do." Brick's hands gestured wildly with every word he spoke.

Hm, that's weird. That sounds a little familiar.

Jackle started to tune back in.

His rant continued, "Second of all, I'm 89% sure he's not straight- actually scratch that I'm 90% sure. " Brick was yelling at this point. "They always smile and laugh when the other person can't see and everyone is always joking how they're together. It's so frustrating!"
Brick was red in the face, on the brink of hysteria. He'd only ever take off his beanie if he was frustrated, and obviously, this was one of those times. Jackle hated to admit it, but it was always a wonder seeing Brick irritated out of his mind because it doesn't happen too often. That's why he annoys him all the time, only ever in public though.

"Well? What do you think?"
"Uh—"

"Y'know what come here," he said just before launching himself across the couch to drag Jackle onto his side, causing them to collapse together. "Here here watch."

Several minutes of watching tv with Brick continuously mumbling every time any possible subtext was shown, Jackle kind of understood where he was coming from. In just a few minutes, Jackle could clearly see signs of attraction. They teased each other constantly, but also had an underlying tone of flirtatious intentions, that was clear enough. He would have probably had more proof, but halfway throughout the episode he started to focus on, well, other things. How eerily similar these two characters were to....

He was probably just overthinking this. Yeah, of course.

Jackle was in the midst of blanking when he was met with a nudge at his side.

"Jack you see what I mean right?"
"Uh, kind of I guess. They seem to flirt a lot. I think. Very domestic to be sure."
"Finally," Brick grabbed Jackle by his shoulders, "you see you understand. None of my friends do and it makes no sense how they just can't see it! It's subtle yeah, but it's there!"
"Perhaps they're just not as invested or as inquisitive as you are, also don't call me Jack."
"Now I know you hate it I'm forever gonna call you that thanks." Brick was greeted with a sigh and an eye roll.
The boy reached over to his phone, checking the time. 3:15pm.

"Oh, it's almost my shift." He shuffled out from under the blanket. "I'm gonna get ready."
Jackle stood as well, adjusting himself. "Me too I suppose." With a quick snap, Jackle returned to his more or less ghost state.
A groan was heard from the washroom, "Yeah, of course you are."
"What? You wanna get rid of me?"
"Shut up."
