The room illuminated from the lights that came running through all of the windows of the headmasters office. Like most office, it had a table filled with documents of who knows what and a seat for the person to rest their bums. The only difference with this office was that there were many bookshelves full of old and rusty books. Too many bookshelves in fact.
The twelve wizards all stood in awkward silence, side by side each other. To the farthest left was Leo, Aries, and Sagittarius, exactly in that order. After Sagittarius, there was a little gap between him and Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra. Followed by Libra was Pisces, Scorpio, and Cancer. The last three were Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn. They all stood before the headmasters desk.
Headmaster Zurich stood, staring out one of his window lost in thought. He saw the whole castle and the woods that lurked right around it. The time was around 6:00, so the sun was quite low by now.
The headmaster finally turned his attention to his students. Some of them gulped in fear thinking that they were in trouble whilst others were as cool as a cucumber, or at least pretended to be.
The headmaster steadily walked towards the 12 wizards. Eyes full of wisdom from his many years of living on Earth. "You all must be wondering why I called upon you." He finally spoke. He then smiled, showing the wrinkles in his eye smile. "Don't fret my friends, for it is not anything bad."
The air wizards didn't even know they were holding in their breaths until he said that. Knowing that it didn't have anything to do with them skipping dinner, the three girls relaxed.
"Then what are we here for, Headmaster?" Sagittarius boldly asked. His curiosity was eating away at his brain. His fellow fire wizards nodded along.
The headmaster was grateful that someone finally asked. He clapped his hands slowly. "Good question. You all must know about the fifth house?" He asked.
Gemini nodded. "Yes, we do." She answered, listening attentively.
Taurus furrowed his eyebrows in curiosity. "But what about it?" Taurus remembers the rumors he heard about the fifth house, some even said that there wasn't one, but now he knows the truth.
The headmaster walked towards his desk and sat on his chair. He rested his elbows on his desk, his hands pressed together underneath his chin. He examined all 12 of the wizards carefully.
After a moment of the faint chattering from students walking nearby, the headmaster slowly inhaled and exhaled. "Let me tell you a short story.
"Not long ago lived 13 warriors of the Earth. Where they came from, no one knew. What there goals were, nobody knew. Every single one of them possessed unearthly powers that could not be compared to even the greatest of all wizards."
"Not even you?" Libra asked. After she closed her mouth, Libra realized that she rudely interrupted the story. Her normally pale face turned as red as a tomato. "Sorry." She apologized.
The headmaster only chuckled at Libra's curiosity. "Yes my dear. Not even I could compare to half of their strengths." He answered, his eyes shining like the morning sun.
"Wow." Sagittarius inaudibly muttered under his breath.
"Ditto." Aquarius whispered back in a quick second.
The two wizards turned their heads to each other and exchanged a quick grin. The pair unconsciously inched closer to each other, waiting for their headmaster to continue the story.
"Originally known as the 13 Zodiacs, now as the 12 Zodiacs, these heroes and heroines managed to capture and imprison the immortal goddess Darknessa. Darknessa, with help from her fellow shadow wizards, plan was to swallow the sun to obtain all of its energy and start a new world in her own image. With the Zodiacs quick actions and savvy minds, the Earth was salvaged from eternal darkness." The headmaster eyes suddenly turned grim. His expression became unreadable.
