All the Zodiac wizards stood in a single file line in front of the headmaster. From the left, all the way to the last person on the right side, stood Aquarius, Gemini, Libra, Aries, Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Sagittarius, Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, and Leo. Looking at them closely, Zurich noticed that they all had a sort of sparkle in their eyes. There was now no doubts in his mind, that they are indeed the Zodiacs.
"Friends, have you noticed a difference between you and the other elemental wizards in this school?" The headmaster asked.
"What do you mean by difference? A difference of ability or powers?" Aquarius asked.
The headmaster nodded with a proud smile.
"Well, now that you mentioned it, I don't see the other wizards cast as much spells as us throughout the day." The bluenette shared.
"To add to that, I've only seen the others cast elemental spells." Sagittarius replied.
Aries widened his eyes in shock. "Wait, you mean it's not normal to cast a teleportation spell, use a telekinesis spell, or any spells of the sort that don't include the four elements?"
"It's possible with the use of potions." Capricorn answered.
"Really? I thought that the potions were just a boost to the actual spell?" Aries replied back in shock.
Does this mean his whole life was a lie? All of his life, he thought it was normal to cast a non elemental spell without the use of a potion. The red head has been casting spells after spells, never thinking much of it. No wonder he always aced his potion classes.
Taurus rubbed the back of his neck with a nervous laugh. "Wow, no wonder everyone thought I cheated in Potion 101."
"Ho ho ho!" The headmaster laughed. "That, is one of the many perks of being a Zodiac, my friend. You guys do not need potions, you just simply have to memorize the spell and cast it. Of course, there will be limits depending on how great the spell is and your stamina."
"How come none of the teachers have mentioned this to us?" Scorpio asked in confusion.
"You see, all of the professors and I have kept a close eye on you twelve and all the other students. It took us a couple years to notice you young wizards as the reincarnation of the former Twelve Zodiacs, and we had to make sure that you were not threats, so it took some time for the truth to come out."
"That would explain all the extra tests we had to take last year." Cancer spoke.
Virgo facepalmed. "I thought those were extra credits to keep my grades up."
"Headmaster, you stated that being able to cast spells without the use of potions was one of the many perks of being a Zodiac wizard. May you explain in further details about the other perks?" Libra asked.
Gemini and Aquarius looked at each other in shock. Libra? The Libra who never spoke up in class and always minded her own business was finally curious about something and asking about it?
Gemini smirked and playfully nudged Libra with her elbow. The snow haired wizard saw the look in Gemini's eyes and blushed from embarrassment.
"We're proud of you." Aquarius whispered, making Libra even more flustered.
"Good question, Libra." The headmaster smiled and grabbed his chin in a thinking stance. "Oh yes, I almost forgot. Another perk is that with the help of time and practice, you twelve will be able to master all four elements."
