The Knight

A gallant man on a noble steed
A knight directed by a vision
Dressed in armor from head to toe
And quite a spectacle was he
all clad in silver glittering so

A lonely warrior he may seem
Scouring the earth to find
That which noone may know

I drew close and asked him 'sir
what your noble vision be'
'I see that which noone yet sees ' he says
'A land of gold and jewels shining bright
I have seen its star and what a sight
I wonder the earth in search
of that which I behold
to know what it truly holds
If you know then friend,
pray tell, where lay Valhalla?

Sorry then my gallant friend
for what you seek I do not know.
Wonder on then friend
for you may yet find
The land on which angels alone tread
and hold that which you behold
