Chapter 20- Into The Future

What should I do? What would Kat do in this situation? She also made a sacrifice. I wonder what it was? And especially, what she said last night. 'Just don't make the same mistake I did and you'll be fine'? What kind of mistake? So many questions, and no answers. Everything is going by so fast. One day, I was the Princess of Crystalia, having a birthday party; the next, a runaway child, and now? The only person who can stop this whole mess. Everything was spinning. It felt like ages have passed by with all the things going on. But really, it has only been around 4 or 5 days.

I do miss the company of my siblings. I really do. I want to spent time with them again. I want to go back to the normal days, where our family was one again. I want to. But obviously that is near impossible. Speaking of witches and siblings, I need to see if the witch will launch attacks today. I can try using that future seeing skill I used a few days back. If only I can remember what it was...hmm...Verum de Futuro? That sounds like it. 'Verum de Futuro!' Soon, a familiar feeling came to mind and here I was again, in a white amidst. Everything was white, until a play button sort of thing appeared. I clicked it. In front of me, it said, 2 hours into future time. The scene twisted and turned, giving me a headache. It was pretty bad, I closed my eyes. For the next minute, I kept it closed. I didn't feel like having to literally vomit today.

After I opened my eyes again, I wasn't in a disgusting spinning amidst . I was in a forest. I didn't recognize the place. I stood there, baffled at what to do next. "There is only success, no defeat, got it?" I heard. The voice came from the right of me. I started walking in that direction. "Soon my dear...soon...soon I will have my revenge!" the voice shrilled again. I recognized that ear piercing voice now, how could I not? It disgusted me. I peaked around the corner, and there it stood, the evil witch. Whose hair was as red as blood and skin as pale as a vampire. She had piercing red eyes that prowled for destruction. Perhaps the relic changed her look a bit. She use to have blue eyes like mom's. They are sisters after all.

"My plan is perfect. They won't suspect a single thing. I will take what's rightfully mine. Just wait sister, you'll see. Everything you took from me, I will take back. I will kill anyone who is in my path, just to do that." the witch said with a piercing laugh at the end. "I will get my throne back. Everything you've built up over the past year, I will destroy. Starting with your family... especially that annoying blue headed girl. I'm surprised at the fact how she was able to slash me. Darn. I could've killed them right there and then. But, it's fine. Cause I will still make her suffer...only more this time around." the witch said. She sounded more and more maniac with each passing second.

"Once the raid is led, everyone will be scattered. Especially the young queen. Then, my plan for the blueberry will work. She'll be so frantic to getting rid of me that she'll accept my offer. Little does she know that I will win. This relic I've absorbed will enhance my physical skills. I can get rid of her there. Her siblings will be devastated to the point that they will be even more unorganized. I can start with their kingdom, and march from there. Phantom!" the witch shouted the last word. Then, a knight appeared from dust. "Yes m'lady?" the knight said. "Make sure you and your group attack from the right area. After me scouting the village, the best place to attack is the left side towards the markets. There is barely enough guards there. The raid is in 1 hour." with that, the knight disappears while bowing.

"Amber." a voice said out of no where. The witch froze for a second before taking out an orb from inside her cloak. It was glowing with purple light. "Yes your majesty?" Amber said. "Ahh...dear, there you are. Anyways, the plan with Funneh. I suggest, after getting rid of her, you bring her soul to me. But in any case you don't, place the curse on her." the voice said. Before I could listen in on more, the world started to spin again.

By the time I am conscious, I am now on the hill. Darn. If only I was able to with stand longer. What did she meant by put a curse on me. That kind of scares me. It's not like it'll matter once I get rid of her relic. But, right now we have bigger problems at hand. There is going to be an attack today. The witch's army will definitely win if I don't do something. I have to first warn Draco and tell him to protect the left side castle. I'll think of something then.

Without further hesitation, I took my phone out. I dialed in Draco's number. Waiting for him to pick up made me pretty anxious. I took one look at the time, 1:32pm. I have approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to find a solution. And this, will be a rushed one. No one was picking up. I kept calling again and again. My heart literally dropped. But that's when I realized that Draco usually has training right before this and is probably asleep at this point. He's a semi heavy sleeper. And that reminds me of how many times I had to slap him awake with pillows. Gosh, if somehow a fire happens at the castle, he'll be dead meat.

Just great. What to do... what to do. How can I get in touch with him? I can't go to the castle and slap him awake, it'll make too much noise. What if I do one of those weird dream contact things? Can magic even do something like that? Whatever, it's worth a shot. Closing my eyes, I imagined transporting myself into a bulb of light. Binding the strands of magic together, I felt something warm. I reached out to grasp it. 'Somnium!' Soon, I was in a dark room.

"Funneh? Is that you?"
