Yena's POV

"I know I'll love this place," Yena gushed as soon as the two men were out of the door.

"This place is perfect," Xia agreed. "But I hope the guys will show up soon. Where are those hunks, anyways?"

"Hibernating, probably?" Hyesoo responded. She then was given an angry remarks and defensive reactions from Bella and Xia.

But the entry of a guy on a white hoodie and black sweatpants interrupted their fight

He quickly introduced himself as Joshua Hong, a college student who works there for a summer.

"Are you the Choi group?" He asked us politely.

"Yes, I'm Brianna Choi, I prefer Brie for short and they're my friends," Brianna stood up and introduced us. "We're all from Busan, Korea."

"Just leave your luggage there. Someone will bring those for you. Meanwhile, let me check in your booked lodge," He was saying as he slid into the reception desk near the entrance.

"I'll be showing you girls to your lodge so you finally get yourselves some rest. Ms Choi, Lee, Park, Kim, here it is. You girls belong to Lodge 20. Here are two duplicate keys for the door. The list of resort rules, and of course the map of the area." He handed Bella several booklets and two keys hanging from snowflake key holders.

"Are you girls ready to go?" He said cheerfully.

We all nodded, so he quickly led us to a snowcruiser out front. We got in and buckled up for the ride to Lodge 20. It only took us five minutes to get there. The place looked like the tourist information center, only it has this long porch like the one we have at home.

My friends an I stepped into the cozy living room of the lodge. In the middle of the room was a beige sofa with pastel pink throw pillows. A fireplace on the farthest wall of the room. It was surrounded by beige cushioned chairs.

To the left, sliding glass doors opened to a private air-conditioned room. With floral azure blue curtains highlighted the off-white walls.

Farther down the hall, another door opened to what looked like a kitchen. A two-door refrigerator stood beside the door. A microwave oven on the marble sink. A wide table surrounded by tall circular chairs stood at the center of the room.

The best part of course, the bedroom. Five queen sized beds and an extra bunk bed stood on the corner by the front window. A large dresser stood between two of the beds. One long couch with cuddly stuffed toys stood beside the telephone.

On the other side of the room, a door opened to a luxury class bath and shower room. Beside it was a walk-in closet provided ample space for the winter clothes we have brought.

Unlike the simple and cozy living room, the bedroom has sky blue walls with pink and yellow flowers. Blue curtains also hung on the windows. The beds were covered with peach-colored sheets with matching peach pillows.

The dresser contained complimentary stationeries and toiletries which came in brightly colored gift bags. All I all, it's like a five-star hotel like those I've seen in the movies.

My friends were equally awed by it. We quickly stuffed our clothes in the closet and tiredly plopped on the beds.

"Can I get you anything more, girls?" Joshua peeked from the door.

"We're very much comfortable now," Brie replied for us. "Thanks for taking us here, Shua-oppa."

Nodding politely, Joshua closed the door. Later we heard the snowcruiser's engine roar and disappear into the road.

HYESOO'S POV

After several minutes, we have turned the bedroom into my friends' own version of how a really cool bedroom should look like. Despite the cute combination of colors put in by the Snowdrop Castle Resort management, they decided it was too serious for them.

After some impulse planning. We have moved the bunk bed on the farthest side of the room. the five queen-sized beds were then pushed back beside it.

We decided it would be fun to sleep together. Later, several of my friends' posters hung on crazy angles from the wall.

Some Korean Boy Bands, Famous actors and some faces that I don't even recognize.

LOOK I ONLY KNOW A FEW. I AIN'T LIKE THOSE CRAZY FANGIRLS.

"This place is cool!" Brie stepped back to admire the work. "Hip," Bella agreed. "What d'you think Hyesoo?"

"Nice," I force myself to say. A disaster area, I wanted to add.

"It's good to hear you appreciate it," Yena said. "It's a great change from your usually boring bedroom." I glared back at her until Bella interrupted.

"Hey guys, are we just going to hang around here all day? C'mon let's go boy hunting!"

"Great idea! Let's see," Brie dug through the brochures Joshua provided. "The Winter Wonderland has souvenir shops, restaurants,a moviehouse, a lovers' alley and a mini-mall. There's an amusement park called the Crystal Carnival."

"There's a Silver Evening Restaurant, a place for romatic dinners and a Frozen Highway, the winter sports area." Brie added.

"Well?" Xia shrugged. "I think let's start at the Winter Wonderland. The lovers' alley will surely have cute guys." Bella's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Yeah, cute guys with cute girls,"
Brie shrugged. "Don't you think a lovers' alley is a place for romantic dates?"

"Definitely," Yena nodded. "For now, we'll have to find the guys before we get ourselves romantic dates at the lovers' alley."

"Hey Hyesoo, are you with us?" Xia noticed my silence.

"Count me out. Guys don't belong to my itinerary," I countered as I plopped down on the bed and opened one of the paperbacks I brought with me.

"Are you telling us you're here to read books? Hyesoo, it's vacation time. Get yourself some fun!" Yena rolled her eyes.

"Boys aren't part of my fun," I frowned. "You guys know that."

"Of course, we do," Brie plopped down beside me and wrapped one arm in my shoulders. "But I guess you have to finally give up with your prejudices about boys. Hyesoo, you're sixteen. You're old enough to handle a relationship. Why don't you get on with it."

"Brianna, I'm old enough to know that boys only want to break our hearts. Don't you still realize what happened to my parents, to you? Males have done nothing but try to hurt your feelings."

Yena tried to calm me down "Hyacinth, all males don't go in saintly personalities. That's why you have to search for the right one. I guess we just didn't search good enough, so we ended up with the wrong boyfriends. Right, guys?"

"Right!" My friends chorused. Bella rolled her eyes, Xia looked impatient. Brie and Yena held pleading looks.

Outnumbered again, I closed the book and got up.

"Right," I nodded weakly.
