Hyesoo's POV

That night, after my friends and I each took a hot shower, we gathered around the bed to talk about our first day at the resort

"The Crystal Carnival was awesome," Yena was telling us.

"You should have been there. The rides were marvelous. And guess what? Mingyu won this for me." She held up a pink teddy bear.

"How romantic!" Bella said, "but you should have gone out with Hoshi. He's just the greatest guy on earth. His eyes are so romantic, they always take my breath away."

Brie confided, "Jun has the greatest body. You see, he asked me to ride with him on a snowmobile He drives it too fast, I just had to hang on to him. Oh, I could still feel those muscles beneath that sweater." She collapsed on the bed in a dreamy stance.

"Dont count me out guys." Xia put in,

"Vernon just has the most soulful voice. He tried to sing out "Don't Wanna Cry" for me. I almost collapsed when he held my hand and took off his sunglasses,"

I was looking from one friend to another, trying to figure out who was the most love-struck.

But with the dreamy expressions on all of their faces, just had to give up.

"Are we going to talk about those guys again?" I irritatedly demanded.

I stood up from the bed and went to lie down on the couch. As I opened a paperback, my friends protested against my being such a kill-joy.

"Hyesoo, will you please cut that "I hate guys" attitude?" Bella scolded me.

"Jihoon was trying to be nice at you this afternoon. You should have, at least, been friendly instead of ruching out when he was just about to talk to you."

"Yeah, Jihoon seems like a pretty nice guy," Xia agreed.

"And ya'll make a cute couple. Blond locks, chocolate eyes," Brie was saying, "and absolute good looking,too." She winked at me I just glared at her in response.

"Well,what do you say Yena?" I looked at her

"That Jihoon's just the nicest, cutest,greatest guy on earth?" Brie was shaking her head.

"Hyesoo, how could you despise someone as friendly as Jihoon?"

"Friendly? you call someone who ran over me with a snowmobile friendly?" I retorted.

"What?" Bella and Yena exclaimed in unison.

"Where d'you suppose I got this?" I showed the bruise on my arm which by now has completely gone purple and swollen

"Hey, that looks bad," Xia examined my arm. "Ow! That hurts," I yelped as Brie touched it.

"Sorry,"

"I get you a cold compress," Bella got up from the bed

"I suppose Jihoon didnt mean to hit you." Brie said.

Just then the phone rang and Brie got up to answer it. "Hello!" she was saying "Chan?" with the sound of my brother's name.

I eagerly looked up and got up from the bed.

"Oh sorry, it's you." she sounded apologetic. "Wait, l'll see if I can get her." She covered the receiver with her hand and knowingly smiled at me.

"It's Jihoon. He wants to talk to you."

"Jihoon?" I was surprised.

"Tell him I've gone to sleep." Brie sighed before she answered
