The next day:

I woke up and got ready for school. My aunt and uncle had already taken Jamie to school.

I quickly ate something and headed for school.

I found Zach at his locker with Cameron, Michael, and Nathan.

"Hey babe," Zach said when I was standing beside him, he put his arm around my waist.

"Hey," I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"So how's your new place?" Nathan asked.

"It's good, so much better than when I was with my parents," I said.

"Well now that's over, so you don't need to worry about them anymore," Cameron said.

"Yeah, I know."

We all split up for class, except me and Zach.

We walked into class holding hands, and everyone just stared at us.

We sat down where Zach usually sat with his other friends.

"Why is she sitting with us?" one of his friends asked him.

'She's sitting here, because she's my girlfriend," Zach said defending me.

"Oh," said his friend shutting up, and quietly sitting down.

"Thanks," I said looking at Zach.

"Of, course," he said kissing my forehead.

"Okay class, today, you guys will be solving some math problems in partners," our teacher said, "And today, because I feel nice, you can pick your own partners."

The whole class cheered.

Zach looked at me, "You'll be my partner right?" he asked.

"Of course," I said.

"Hey Zach! Partners?" one of his friends asked him.

"No, I'm with my girl," Zach said.

"Well, let's get to work," I said.

"Okay, but, I'll warn you that I'm not good at math... at all," he said.

"It's okay, I'll help you."

We ended up finishing the problem early, so we had some time to talk.

The bell rang and we headed off to our next class.

Lunch:

I sat with Zach, Nathan, Cameron, and Michael.

"So, are you coming to our practice today?" Zach asked.

"Sure, why not," I said.
