I woke up not in the mood for school, I know we had a break but I spent it working, not that I mind but still, school gets annoying.
I get good grades do what I need to do for what go to college and do the same then boring life work wake up work wake up just miserable. Don't worry tho I can't wait.

"Solie!"
"Yes Ma'am I'm coming!"
"Ouu you gone make me kick you." I laughed and rushed down the stairs.

"Yes my beautiful mother."
"Better. Okay Im letting you drive today." I did a happy dance and my mom role her eyes.
"I lovvvve you did I tell you that this morning."
"Wow so saying I love means you have to receive something first."
"Of course mom don't you listen to my podcast I mean I'm late for class byye." I rushed out the door then walked back in.
"Oh good thought you was really wearing tha-"
"I forgot my book bag have a good dayyy."
"Its nice why don't you-" I shut the door. She's gonna kill me.

I walked outside and saw Khiry he looked frustrated he rubbed his face and the back of his head. I then saw his car wouldn't start so then decided to walk over.

"Oh hey Solie what you doing?" he said smiling nice ass.

"Need some help or not." I said rolling my eyes.

"Well I-"

"Okay get me some tools." I looked in the hood of his car.

I learned about cars since I was like eight my uncle taught me cause moms car was so bad we were late every morning.

"Okay you need to get your battery changed you can ride with me for the day." He smiled showing those beautiful dimples and perfect freckles. I could tell he looked a bit embarrassed or uncomfortable I helped with his car but hey not everyone has a uncle like mine. He got in.

As we pulled up to school a lot of eyes was on us. Did I ever mention the girls at my school was thirsty too, I mean to be bussers they gotta be thirsty for something right. That's there business anyways I turned of the car and adjusted everything.

"Aye thanks Solie I really appreciate it that's was sweet of you to think of me."

"Baby I didn't "think" of you I just did what anyone with comment sense would do helping a sister or in your situation a brother out. I gotta friend that can discount you on that battery too."

Khiry:

I don't get why Solie always hides her nice side sometimes she's sweet one minute then mean don't mess with me the other.
I don't care how she feels that was a nice thing she did ain't nobody gone stop help fix a car or offer a ride only someone kind enough.

We walked into school together but she sped up I guess she just dosen't like me.

Today she wore kinda baggy sweats with a short sleeve that said "black girls shaking things up." No lie detected this also made me realize she could've got her white shirt dirty but didn't think twice on helping me.

"Heyy." Amina said she always flirts with me and I tell her about my girl and she don't give a damn.
"I don't have the patience Amina"
"Baby you don't have a girl."

Her mouth fell open I've been at this school a month now since I'm always smiling and reserved people think I'm a pushover nice guy but they don't know Khiry at all.

"Okay So y'all coming to my house cool, but y'all better remember the snacks cause my house ain't finna be the pantry every time y'all come over or im not finna be chief so y'all better be prepared to order take out." I said Nadja and Livy wanted to spend the night at my house and then we all ride together in the morning. The walked off before I could fully turn around I bumped into someone.

"If you let me take you out."
"Why can't you just leave me alone."
"Little girl what I say." he said pushing me into a locker. To him that's cute to me you get slapped. I back handed him and before he could react.

"Ayo boy!" He turned around getting knocked down holding his nose from... Khiry?!

"The fuck nigga I'm talking to my woman."
"She don't want to talk to you punk ass." Before he could throw another punch I took all my strength and pushed him in a empty classroom.

"Calm down." I said laughing he looked so mad then he looked up at me then smiled. He was sitting on a desk and I was standing in front of him.

"I guess I was paying you back for helping."

"Well next time I'll handle it I'm strong." I said flexing my muscle.

"Them tatter tots." he said squeezing my arms. He started laughing and I noticed how beautiful his smile and laugh was then I realized how close we were together I got embarrassed and quickly moved.

"Hmm Solie shy that different."

"How about Solie make you walk home."

"We both know she would miss me too much I mean check a boy out." I smacked my teeth and walked to the parking lot.

He ran out after me. And handed me my bookbag.

"Oh you was really gone leaven me with you bag."
"I mean if you took all day."
"Hush" he said pushing me.
