The small red haired boy stuck his tongue out as he worked on the cardboard with scissors and paint. He used the mixes of yellow, orange and reds to make his father's flames. He poked small holes in the cardboard and pushed the string through. He pulled the fiery mask onto his face, copying his father. He pushed himself up from his knees and walked out the door to find his father who he had admired.
He peered into a room where his father was sitting at a desk writing on whatever papers he had. It looked so boring. Touya stepped inside and tugged on his father's pants leg, frowning at the lack of response, he tugged again, and again, and again. "Cant you see I'm bus-Ah." Enji looked down at his son, a small scowl on his lips. He made a small 'tch' before lifting his son upto his shoulders. "Let's to show people what the Todorokis are made of, eh?"
Touya smiled and used one hand to hold onto his father's hair, the other pointing ahead of them as it would like he could use a quirk. He was only three at the time, he was yet to manifest a quirk of his own. His bright red hair and bright turquoise eyes suggested he would be more likely to have his father's quirk. The fire. The flame. Unlike his mother who had pale grey eyes and white hair. Her complexion was faint, her skin soft and cold to the touch. "Papa?" He asked, looking down into his father's hair "Will I be a hero like you?" He asked curiously before glancing at his hands.
"You will." Enji chuckled "Not as amazing as I, but I'm sure you'll fall in somewhere of being a hero."
Touya looked down at his father once again, frowning softly. "Papa could train me to be better." He spoke, rather emotionless as always.
"I could try. You wouldn't live upto what I plan. You're much to small."
"I'll grow! I'll get my quirk and be powerful like Papa! Fuyumi can be like Mama."
"Fuyumi is only a year old, Touya." Enji spoke "She doesn't have a quirk yet."
"But she looks like Mama. And Touya looks like Papa, but Touya has prettier eyes. Mama said that."
Enji growled softly at the words. He couldnt accept that anyone was better then him in any way. Looks, quirks, skill, intelligence. Anything. "Your mother isnt mentally well." He spoke. It was partly true, Rei wasn't the most sane all the time, but there was a deeper reason then simply mental illness.
Touya sighed and laid his head on his father's hair, closing his eyes. He didnt like when his Mama was spoken badly of. He adored her, she was the best Mama anyone could ask for.

It was two years later when the small red haired boy found himself looking in awe at the blue flame emitting from the palm of his hand. "Pretty..." he whispered, staring at the flame like it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. It danced within his hand, whisking in the soft breeze that came from the window of his room. A small gasp came from his lips as it started to hurt, he shook his head and pouted as the flame flicked out.
"M-Mama! Papa!" He yelled excitedly "I have a quirk! I have a pretty quirk!" He screamed, running around the house to find them. Happiness and excitement radiating in his bright blue eyes. He jumped on the couch beside his mother, his younger sister and now younger brother. His sister was three and his brother was one. They both looked like their mother, both their hair white. Though, they both had red speckles sparkled in their hair. Touya felt slight jealously He wasnt like them. The oldest and the most different.
"You have your quirk?" Rei asked, looking at her eldest son with a gentle smile. "Show me, dearest."
Touya grinned widely and struck a pose, one foot infront of the other. He parted his fingers and stuck his tongue out, squinting his eyes and concentrating on the sparks that began to flicker before a bright blue flame began to burn. "Its pretty, isn't it, Mama?" He asked, shaking his hand to rid of the flame before his siblings touched it.
