Chapter 13

(1 month later)

Sophia's POV

It has been 1 whole month since Nash and I broke up.

*FLASHBACK*

At the end of the day when I was walking to Ashby's car Nash came up to me and started whispering seductive things in my ear and grabbing my waist pulling me in until we were just centimeters apart. He started breathy heavily in my face and pulled me in for a kiss.

I pushed him off me and ran into Ashby's car.

My heart was beating fast and I couldn't shake the feeling of his lips on mine.

A few minutes later Ashby came into the car, he didn't say anything so I assumed he didn't see. Thank God. He drove me back to my house.

When I got home I saw my mom and Myles sitting on the couch. I ran over to them and gave them a big hug. My brother was finally home. I missed him so much even though I visited him at the hospital a lot I still missed having hime home. My mom told me he would come back to school tomorrow! I was beyond excited. I had told him all about what happened between Nash and I. It really brought us together in a weird way.

The next day school went by fast. I avoided Nash and ran Into Ashby a few times. It was weird Ashby and I were dating but it felt like we were strangers at the same time. I couldn't really explain it.

The rest of the day was pretty none eventful. My mom picked us up and drove us home. Even though I have my license I always liked when my mom drove me places it gave us time to bond.

When we got home it was pretty normal. Ashby came over and we just hung out. I never realized, but he is actually a nice guy, I mean yeah he was a dick to me most of my life, but he had changed for the better and I knew dating him was the best thing for me now.

The next few weeks went by like that. Ashby took me on a few dates, but there was one that I don't think I will ever forget.

It was 6:30 and I heard a knock at my door I opened it to see Ashby in a suite. He looked so cute. He drove us to my favorite restaurant. There, he sang me a song that he wrote just for me. It was so romantic. After dinner he took me to this pond thing near his house. He took out a slice of bread he had taken from the restaurant and broke of a piece and gave it to me. We started feeding the geese. He laid out a blanket and we sat there talking as we watched the sunset, it was perfect.

Like I said the last few weeks were pretty normal. There was no Nash drama because well I basically avoided him as much as I could. He tried calling sometimes, but I sent it to voicemail everytime.

*FLASHBACK OVER*

Today was Monday, yay (note my sarcasm). I got up and walked into the bathroom. I brushed out my hair and noticed it was wavy so I just left it. I did my usual makeup and got dressed In my uncomfortable uniform. I walked down stairs and grabbed a quick breakfast. I have been doing much better with the whole 'starving myself thing' I mean it wasn't a big deal because I didn't actually starve myself I just ate less then I should have.

My mom dropped me and Myles of at school. When we got there I hopped out and said goodbye.

As I walked into school I noticed Nash. Great (note the sarcasm). He was with this girl, she had brown wavy hair and green eyes. Everyone was crowding around her because she was new.

Nash's POV

Last night I got a call from Meagan. Meagan was my best friend since we were little, but She moved away to Pennsylvania when were 14.

She told me that she was moving back to North Carolina!

She has helped me a lot this passed month through everything with Sophia. We were so close so it was easy to talk to her about it. She was like a sister to me, there for nothing could ever happen between us, ever.

I saw Sophia walk passed us. I could see the jealousy in her face. I never thought about Meagan making Sophia jealous, but now that I see it does I have the best idea.

I pulled Meagan away from the people around her into an empty hallway and explained my plan to her.

"So u got it" I asked Meagan. "Yes Nash you told me like 3 times, I'm not an idiot" she said while laughing. "Ok I'm sorry, it's just this means a lot to me. I want Sophia back, I know I was the one to end it with her, but I love her so much it hurts, and without her it feels like so much of me is missing and no matter what I do I can't get her out of my head. She's toxic to me and has been ever since the first day I met her. She makes me feel so happy and alive, and when I'm not with her I just want to crawl into a hole and die. She means the word to me and I would die for her. I just-" "Nash it's fine I get it, you don't have to tell me it all I understand." Meagan interrupted. "Thanks 'girlfriend'" I smirked.

So if you didn't catch on my plan was to fake date Meagan to make Sophia jealous. I know that so seventh-grade of us, but I care about her so much I had to do it. I want her back in my arms forever.
