Though My Eyes [A Ruki Story]

It's What You Do

(sorry for the length. It was a good stopping place! Next one will be better!)

"So you just not caring how worried everyone was about you?" 
"What are you talking about?" 
"You were drunk!"
"I figured that part out." 
"Do you have any feelings for other people! What about Ruki?" 
"What the hell is with that looser? He makes me so mad!"
"Your the one who's being such a bitch to him!"
"Look if he said something to me last night I don't remember!"
"He was saying about how worried he was about you and how bad he felt that you ran out. He thought you were hurt." 
"Yet he still doesn't say anything... It's like he wiped it from his mind..."
"What?"
"He still won't even let me down! He doesn't even have the balls to tell me he doesn't love me!"
All she does is sighs. I don't expect her to have all the answers but I wish I just had some kinda of comfort. I went for the door and I bumped into somebody in front of me. I look up and it's none other then the devil himself. 
"S-sorry..." He puts his hand behind his head and looks away from me. 
"What do you want?" 
"Lottie!" I can hear Lyrick say. She obviously upset with my tone. 
"I just wanted to make sure you were ok..." 
I didn't know what mad me take all my anger out on him, I just didn't want to be led on.
"Look if you don't like me that's ok. I just want you to tell me face to face. I know you don't want a serious relationship but I had to let you know. I can't believe that I still love you but I do."
He's silent. It's like every time he hears the word love, he shuts down and has to reboot like a computer. 
"Fine." I say pushing passed him and out the door. 
"Lottie! Wait!" I hear Lyrick say. I keep walking though. Once I get around the corner I pull out my phone and scroll the contacts till I find the number I'm looking for. 
"Moshi Moshi?" 
"Yo-ka? It's me Lottie. You free for awhile?" 
"Of course my dear." He says though the phone. 
"You can come over to my place if you want?" 
"That sounds wonderful." I say. 
And with that I was taking my own means of comfort. I needed attention and I wasn't stopping till I got it...
