I will be your hero

When Saiko arrived at the scene all he saw was a barricade of people. His ears twitching everytime he hears an explosion happens. He squeezed through the crowd to arrive at the front and what he saw shocked him. All he could see is fire around the area and the heroes avoiding the villain. He could feel his hands tremble in fear as his eyes zeroed in on the familiar blond hair struggling against the villain.

"W-why is no one helping him?" He asked himself, afraid of what's happening in front of him. He didn't notice that he stepped forward until a hero stopped him and lightly pushed back towards the crowd. "Hey! It's dangerous here. Just stay there."

"Why aren't you doing anything?!" He shouted at the hero with desperation in his eyes. The hero looked at him with pity and shame. "Look kid. Our quirks can't do anything to help him. We have to wait for a hero with a more suitable quirk in this situation."

He looked back at the scene and he can feel the panic swelling up inside him. "He can't breath. I-I need to do something to help him... but I don't know what to do." He closed his eyes and clasped his hands together tightly. 'Please... someone do something. I can't lose someone again.' As he pleaded, he felt the wind brushed past him. He opened his eyes and saw the back of a familiar green hair running towards the villain.

He could only watch as papers started flying as Midoriya threw his bag at the villain. Seeing his friend go through lengths to save Bakugou brings hope to him. "A hero..." he whispered to himself, "Izu-kun can't get him out alone." He nodded to himself and closed his eyes and concentrated. The people around the purple haired boy moved back in surprise as he suddenly disappeared leaving a purple smoke.

"Because you look like you need help."

Midoriya smiled as he kept on clawing the slime trying to help Bakugou at least a little. The villain recovered. The heroes around them began to shout at the boy as the villain prepared to strike him. Just as All Might reached them another kid appeared besides them and grabbed Midoriya's arm and reached for Bakugou's with the other. The Number 1 hero glanced at the new addition, "I'll try to get them out." Said the purple haired boy with determination. He concentrated and the three of them disappeared just as All Might punched the villain.

"DETROIT SMASH!"

It then began to rain. And with a single punch, the number one hero destroyed the villain and changed the weather.

Midoriya looked at the person that took him and Bakugou away from the scene and saw his friend, Saiko. He looked at his friend in awe but he begun to panic as he saw him start to sway, his footing losing balance. His nose begun to bleed because of exhaustion.

'I never did that before. Taking two people with me.' Saiko thought as black spots begun to dance in his eyes. And not a moment later, he passed out.

Midoriya begun to flail his hands in panic looking around the area to help his friend. In his panic, he didn't notice a certain blond bully wake up. He noticed Midoriya near him and grit his teeth

'You looked like you needed help.' Midoriya tearfully smiled at Bakugo

'That trash thinking he's better than me.' Bakugo sat up and tried to stand up but he noticed a familar purple haired figure lying on the ground.

'Why is he here?' Bakugo thought as he scrambled towards his bestfriend. He noticed his bleeding nose but he has no injuries. He slightly slapped Saiko's face to wake him up.

"Oi. Wake up." Saiko begun to stir and opened his eyes. He saw a blurry figure in his line of sight. His eyebrows furrowed in annoyance but then he remembered what happened.

"Katsuki!" He suddenly sat up, and Bakugo not expecting the sudden action didn't manage to dodge the forehead hitting his. They both clutched their forehead in pain, 'How hard is that forehead?!' Saiko thought as tears start to gather at the corner of his eyes. His dam of emotion broke as he cried, everything that happened just registered to him.

"O-oi. Why are you crying? It doesn't hurt that much." Bakugou calmly said but you could see in his eyes the panic at seeing his friend bawling his eyes out.

"I-I'm sorry! I should h-have done something useful much e-earlier... b-but I was a-afraid! Then I-Izu-kun ran... then I should do something because I c-can't lose anyone again!" With that he hugged Bakugou, his arms around the other's torso, and tears starting to soak Bakugo's uniform. Bakugo could only sigh and a small smile appeared in his face as he looked down at the smaller male hugging him. He puts his hand on the top of Saiko's head and began to stroke his head gently, his fingers threading through the soft hair. He did this until his friend calmed down, ignoring all the heroes talking to him. He looked up and saw Midoriya looking at them, he scowled at the greenette as he watch the other panic under his glare.

Midoriya was walking alone with his shoulder slumped, as he remember the scolding he got from the heroes for doing something dangerous. He stopped as he saw Bakugo, piggybacking a sleeping Saiko, looking at him from a distance. Bakugo refrained himself from shouting at the boy to avoid waking Saiko up. He shortened the distance between them by walking towards Midoriya.

"Hey Deku. I never asked you to save me. I could've beaten him myself. How dare a quirkless failure like you pity me. Don't you dare mock me, stupid nerd." He glared as he whispered angrily at Midoriya. He turned back and held Saiko's leg tightly as he went home. If he were to turn back, he would know the truth of All Might's quirk and what would change Midoriya's life.

Bakugo quietly opened the front door of his house and tried to sneak in his room, still with Saiko on his back but he didn't go unnoticed.

"Katsuki! You're finally home!" Bakugo's mother is standing sternly, looking at Bakugo, but there is worry hidden in her eyes. She then noticed the sleeping male that her son is carrying at his back.

"Take him to your room and have a rest. We'll talk tomorrow." She smiled at her son and nodded at the direction of his room. Bakugo just walked past his mother with a nod, showing his appreciation.

In his room, Bakugo sat down on the bed and unhooked his arms from Saiko's legs. He gently laid his friend down on his bed and stood up.

"Thank you. I promise that I'll do everything to protect you." Bakugo declared as he looked at the sleeping form of his friend and he laid down next to Saiko.
