Saiko noticed Midoriya fidgeting, thinking that he was just nervous, he pats him in the back and looked at him with a smile.

"Don't be nervous Izu-kun! You passed the entrance exam so I believe that you'll pass this too!" Midoriya sent a nervous smile at Saiko, thanking him for the encouragement.

"...From now on, for the next three years, all you can expect from your life at Yuuei is one hardship after the next." "

Saiko observed the teacher with a curious look, almost missing out on some of their homeroom adviser's speech. He cannot help but think that the teacher looked familiar to him or maybe he heard him from somewhere.

Saiko's POV

TEST 1: THE 50 METER DASH

"Iida Tenya and Asui Tsuyu."

I, along with the other students, watched as the mentioned names get into a starting position. For the first time, I just noticed the engine on Iida's legs and held back a wince.

'Thinking about having those engines on my legs makes me very uncomfortable. But that is very convenient in this test.' I thought as I watched him zoom pass the 50 meter track in just 3.04 seconds.

Soon enough, almost half of the class was already called. I feel completely awestruck at all the different quirks that was used for the test. I even have to stop myself from laughing when I witnessed a blonde guy with laser shooting out from his navel fail in the middle of the track.

"Bakugo Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku."

I felt my ears perk up when I heard the names of both of my friends being called. I smiled proudly at Bakugo when he crossed the end using his quirk. I looked back at Midoriya and frowned when I saw how he gave it his all but was already tired from running.

"Fuzen Saiko and Todoroki Shoto."

I simply walked towards the starting point with what probably looked like confidence in my whole demeanor but in my mind, I am nervously sweating when all eyes are focused on me. I ignored the piercing glare from what I am sure is from Bakugo.

My partner (or opponent?) went into a starting position and I felt coldness around him. On the other hand, I stood there with a bored look on my face. In the corner of my eyes, I saw some of my classmates looking at me wierdly as I just stood at the start without going into position. It probably looked like that I don't have any plan on running.

"See you at the end."

I spoke in a volume where only Todoroki could hear me and I noticed him glancing at me when I said this. When I heard the signal, I gave him a grin before disappearing like a smoke in front of him.

"Fuzen Saiko and Todoroki Shoto."

After observing All Might's protege and the kid who got first place on the entrance exam. Aizawa looked at his list and called out two names, a Todoroki and the child who got lost.
