You and kairi have been hanging out more than usual. You wasn't really sure what you guys were, but after the kiss you guys have been closer than ever. You guys would kiss but not on the lips just on your foreheads and cheeks.
Ever since you and kairi kissed Alejandro has been avoiding you and the group. He would give u and kairi dirty looks and would hang out with vics friends instead of you guys. You was confused on to why he was acting like this, you had so many questions to ask, and after all he was your best friend, and you did miss him, so you decided to go to his house.
You didn't live far from Alejandro , his house was just a couple streets down so it wasn't a far walk. As you was walking your nerves started getting the best of you. You didn't know why you was nervous, it was only alejandro. Maybe you were nervous about his reaction? You were so caught up in your thoughts that you didn't realise you arrived at his house. You were hesitating on wether you should ring the doorbell but you had to, you had to know why he was acting like this.
Pressing the doorbell you waited for someone to come to the door. After a couple of seconds alejandro opened the door, "can we talk?" You said looking at him "I'm busy right now" he said walking back inside "Alejandro please" you said before he closed the door, he sighed "what do you want" he said looking at you bothered "what is your problem? You've been acting weird bro, giving me dirty looks in the hall, avoiding me and the group, wtf Alejandro?!" You said crossing your arms annoyed, "I'm fine and why do you care anyway you have other people to worry about like kairi" he replied with, now you was mad he's blaming this on kairi "uh maybe because your my best friend and I care about you?! And your really jealous of me and kairi how low can you be!" You said, you was getting angrier every moment "like I said go worry about kairi" he said raising his voice a bit "can you not be happy for me? I'm happy for you! You know I hate Vic after what she did to you but I still support you and your decisions because it's what best friends do!" You said raising your voice now "well maybe you aren't my best friend!" He said shouting now. You stopped, Everything stopped. You looked at him with tears in your eyes, this was too much for you, "Maria I-" he said trying to grab your arm "save it Alejandro" you said walking away.
You didn't want to go home, you wanted to see kairi and tell him what happened. You needed to speak to someone. You called him and he answered instantly "Heyyyy" he said from the other side of the phone "can you pick me up? Right now? Please.." he could tell you've been crying "omw" you told him where you were and he came 5 mins later. The car ride was silent, he knew you wasn't okay so he tried his best to comfort you, he drew circles on the back on your hand with his thumb calming you down.
When you guys arrived his house was empty, his mum was at work and maiya was at dance class. As you guys entered his room he gave you the biggest hug, you felt safe in his arms it was different to anyone else's hugs. You guys stayed it that position until he pulled away "if your not ready to tell me it's fine but if you are I'm all ears" he says grabbing your hand, you smiled and said you was ready to tell him.
You told him everything thing that happened. You felt stupid for crying but you couldn't help it, words hurt. "He never deserved you Maria! You deserve better" he said kissing your forehead.
You were both laying on his bed, you in his arms as you were both scrolling through TikTok. You thought it was a good time to ask him what you guys were, "Kairi what are we?" you said sitting up looking at him, he also sat up "what do you wanna be?" He said smiling "well if your ready for a relationship then so am I" you said "well then will you be my gf..?" He said getting shy "of course I will!" You said smiling.
you didn't realise how many messages you had from Alejandro until you checked, your phone was on do not disturb so you didn't know.
